  1. I know. As an example, at MCT they used two gangways, so the check ins were divided into two groups (each a number of decks). The quote I posted (which you referred to) stated that: I think that has now been clarified as two groupings of decks.
  2. If I were in your situation, I would just let them dress as they choose. They're on vacation too, and nobody who means anything will care.
  3. Thanks. That's good to know. I'll keep an eye out for this. I've requested many repricing's in the past and never encountered this issue.
  4. Are you talking about two groups due to two gangways, or did they actually board by deck? That would be a first.
  5. If anybody questions it they're an idiot. Skin cancer is a real thing and I'm pretty sure almost everybody understands that. I have some swim shirts like that and, while they look goofy to some, have no concerns wearing them to keep from bursting into flames when the sun is out. 😎
  6. Really? I've never heard of this before.
  7. Who lost your luggage? What insurance do you have (if any)?
  8. Does anybody else remember "the Man Show?" (and is willing to admit it?). They did a funny segment on bottled water. Adam Corolla reminisced that "in my day, there were two types of water....tap and hose." A lot of us grew up drinking from the hose in the back yard.🤣
  9. A twist tie? Like I use on the produce bags at the grocery store?
  10. Wouldn't the water dispenser in the Buffet have a similar filter?
  11. Isn't it all the same water? How did they test it, and why would they spend their vacation doing such a thing?
  12. Actually, you'll have mostly water after a couple of hours. I skip the bucket and just fill my hydroflask with cubes at the buffet.
  13. I've done this several times. I thought that you had to book AND SAIL within 12 months from the date the FCC was awarded. Has this changed? I just was granted FCC for a price drop later this year and the email says "These credits will be available for one year to book and sail, upon completion of your current sailing on Debarkation Day"
  14. I'm not sure how things work in the Great White North. @YVRteachermight be more helpful. My actions are all leveraged by NCL having fully refundable deposits here in the states right up until final payment. Our banks used to pay us zero percent interest, so a no-brainer. Now they pay us 5% interest, so having cash tied up with NCL has a cost. But, what the heck, I just let it float and book NCL cruises out as far as the (booking) horizon, currently fall 2025. Don't tell anybody this, but I currently have 14 future NCL cruises booked (actually 16, but I've been too lazy to cancel two that I have no intention of taking). At $250 deposit per, that means that NCL has $3500 of my hard earned* money in their greedy hands and they aren't paying me a dime of interest. Oh well. I'm a "stock holder" (🤣), so maybe I can feel good about that? (that's a joke) *I can't back that part about "hard earned" up.😀
  15. Okay, I'm going to tell you a secret. Uber drop off and pick up at Elliott Av. and Bell street. You'll never encounter a crowd. Zero traffic. No train delays. If you're really a local, you should already know this. Don't tell anybody else. We don't want to ruin this. 😎 ETA: I and others share this pro-tip on here from time to time. Nobody ever reads or remembers, so we're likely "safe." 🤣
  16. Book early and often. You're in the US so you risk nothing until final payment date. Some on here (myself included) make it a hobby to book/check/reprice/cancel/replace/repeat on an ongoing basis. The fun is maximized when some itinerary that you booked only as a placeholder is cancelled by NCL and they give you a perk (10% FCC, etc) for another cruise that you actually plan to go on. That's like free money!
  17. Platinum doesn't include any priority for disembarking. That might be a benefit if a person either a) has a very tight schedule to get to the airport or b) is one of those nervous types that can't wait to end their vacation (which continues to baffle this 🐀).
  18. LOL. Since yours is the first report we've heard of this, it's a fair question. Anybody?
  19. I think most here just use the nice Amazon holders if we're stuck with paper tags.
  20. I've sailed three times this year in steerage and received luggage tags in the mail each time. I guess NCL likes me more than others.😎
  21. Thanks @complawyer. I've been mostly lurking lately. Busy with a lot of "life."
  22. I haven't heard of this. What did the sticker look like? What was it used for?
