I've always been able to find some shade, but not necessarily all that great. IIRC, there are some tables with umbrella shades at one or two for the food/drink venues. I would still recommend good sunshade, hat and SPF swim shirt.
I've received the NCL tags for several recent cruises, and I'm most certainly NOT in the Haven. I do prefer the heavy vinyl, self-adhesive, NCL provided tags. That said, if those don't show up, I do have the Amazon holders and they are great.
They have a morgue?! How many bodies are typically in there? I would think that there would be just as much chance of somebody being dead in the next room due to "too much cruising" or it was just their time.
That's interesting. I didn't know that. That said, I'm guessing that I consume a lot more salt with/on my food that the trace amounts in my drinking water. Salt affects different people in different ways.
CFAR is expensive and something that I'm not willing to pay for. I generally buy policies that have a modest pre-existing condition lookback (e.g. 60 days). If I get to final payment and have no recent medical history that could interfere with my cruise, then I'm good to go.
