  1. Don't look for @sid_9169 at Fenway Park in Boston anytime soon, the margin for error in the Men's Room is off the charts!!!
  2. Please keep in your thoughts and prayers the room steward(s) if Sid accidently forgets to leave his snoozin' sign on the door knob again and they go in to clean his cabin and he then has to "re-sanitize it".
  3. I say no too because half the fun was/is the incentive of showing us the receipts. The people next to you at the bar are less likely to care about what number your at than your hundreds of devoted and sometimes deranged followers here on CC. 😉
  4. Remember even after this three day weekend we still have 5 more full days of work to do on keeping this thread sailing for Sid folks. We need to pace ourselves.
  5. Have a great 8 days @sid_9169. We are all looking forward to hearing from you again when you come out from the dark side of the moon next weekend.
  6. I always wanted to check this place out in Miami. 🙂
  7. Nah I say leave it sit, then we can all enjoy thinking of it as an endless summer cruise with Sid and the boys. 😉
  8. Enjoy your retro 20th century cruise with no internet and always remember that...
  9. Yes if you book it they will send you a confirmation of the booking, and you can cancel anytime. I remember not being sure myself when I first booked this lot because of what is said about Fridays but I think that is only effective in mid summer when the lot is filled with pax from the NCL ship that leaves on Friday nights to Bermuda. If you throw in other dates earlier during the summer for longer cruises the lot is shown as not available because it is already totally sold out. Here there are still openings.
  10. Here is the link with your info inserted as Sept 7 11am to Sept 22 11am, which you can adjust if needed. There is also a $12 service fee added for a total of $212. https://www.parkwhiz.com/flynn-cruiseport-boston-cruise-terminal-parking/?start=2024-09-07T11%3A00%3A00-04%3A00&end=2024-09-22T09%3A00%3A00-04%3A00&daily=1
  11. The C1 lot is open and bookable for $200 during this time frame, and it is an attended lot as I have parked there for HAL cruises that leave on Saturdays from the port. If there are openings in that lot on a Saturday that are being offered for booking now then there will be someone there.
  12. Based on a search I just did on the Park Whiz app for the Flynn Cruiseport terminal in Boston from Sept 7 at 11am until Sept 22 at 9am it shows parking available for $200 at the lot at 1 Black Falcon Ave. That lot is located just in front of where the ship will be docked and is a 4 minute walk to the terminal. I have used it before and it's a very convenient location.
  13. Cabin 3332 from one year ago this month. All category D (3331-3370) bathrooms on the Zaandam have been remodeled and have large glass enclosed showers.
  14. That is still pretty sad that a wall that size has what looks like a 32" TV mounted oddly on a frame that looks to be made for like a 48" TV. I know that people don't cruise to watch TV but in a time when the average size of TV's in American homes are around 55 inches, HAL could do better at least in their suites on the older ships.
  15. When I first quickly read the title on this thread I thought it said "Clothing optional night 1 Alaska cruise" and I immediately thought now why didn't I book that cruise? Then I realized that I may need to book an eye doctor appointment instead! 😉
  16. Probably cheaper to suck it up, become Swifties, and buy a couple of tickets to her show and try and sleep there!😜
  17. A perfect time in this thread to interject this story about the fate of the Titanic's dogs as we approach the 112th anniversary of it's sinking. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/news/remembering-dogs-titanic/
  18. In all seriousness, my guess is that in a real evacuation many of the issues that have been discussed in here for days now about service dog laws and protocols might be amplified to a point well beyond what has been talked about here and who knows what would happen. In saying that I think we should all hope to never have to experience such an event on a cruise ship.
  19. If they're Pugs they will be escorted to one of these... 😉
  20. Probably only later during the dessert serving otherwise it could have become an entree!
