  1. How long are the ships in Texas waters? When does drink package start?
  2. We cook and grill at home here in Louisiana, so rarely order steaks at any restaurant or while on cruises. My DH grills my steaks perfect to my taste. When on cruises we eat nightly in MDR and once in Steakhouse on the night that doesn't have our go to meal choices. I am so glad they brought back the Fire tomatoe soup (not that it's spicy at all). On one night I normally order several appetizers as my meal and love it. We find things we like to eat. DH eats Guys a few times and I rarely get a burger. We like the variety.
  3. On our cruise before the shutdown, our table mates were charged for 20 sodas during the wrong seating of dinner. They had Cheers so Guest Services did not care to check into it. That does not seem like a mistake.
  4. I wish I could cruise forever. Hate leaving the ship.
  5. I just wish for a Dream class ship returning to Nola. I loved the Dream's spa area.
  6. Pre covid. We paid $15 total for three people for the week.
  7. My Carnival PVP was able to get the type of room in the area we wanted for both legs. I had to ask him to look. He was great!!! This is also our first B2B. Good luck!
  8. I for the first time called my Carnival Cruise planner for our next B2B cruise. I wanted to book the same room for all 9 days and it didn't look like I would be able to from my mock booking. He was able to get everything arranged and he was able to find us the same type of room in same area for both legs of our trip. Maybe if you contacted a Carnival cruise planner they can find you a room for three.
  9. If you drink wine, there is Cruising the Vineyards. Each adult can get their own package. 3 bottles or 5 bottles package and the bottles canbe brought back to room.
  10. We had Cheers three weeks ago. At dinner we both got a shot and we bought a two shots for another couple. We were charged for two shot glasses for our two shots and whole amount for other two shots. Only ours were counted toward our # of drinks toward 15.
  11. To be honest, the old way was not any better at preparing us for an emergency. I would be in a pack of people to which I could not hear anything or see anything that would have been any help at all.
  12. We order the wine and fruit basket for every cruise. Also the water bottles. It's a great snack to have in the room. Plus I am diabetic (controlled by proper diet/exercise, no meds) so sometimes I just need a small fruit to hold me over until meal time.
  13. There should be a fine for those people who prop open doors especially if at night.
  14. Not all high floors on all ships. The tenth floor balcony rooms on the Glory are hot. I have been in several different ones along with friends and family members. We all think they have been too hot. Of course that is just our opinion, but I was glad I received the advice to bring a fan or ask for one before staying a week in a hot room.
  15. 2 days without working plumbing is a major deal to me. That is not a vacation I will be paying for. If I wanted to rough it, I would go tent camping. Even most camping places have working plumbing.
  16. I noticed people getting coffee at the lobby bar on our last cruise. I never noticed this before. I think it is a limited menu.
  17. I could have sworn my Irish coffee was $7.50 on Glory 1/15/23.
  18. Those balconies are hot bring a fan if you like to sleep cool. I will never get a10th floor balcony on Glory again.
  19. Each person 21 or older in stateroom can purchase the package. So 10 bottles for two adults. We try and go to steakhouse bar to get our bottles. They have the best selection other than MDR.
  20. I believe if you go back and look at the Cheers to You offer, it's is including the gratuities.
  21. Thanks so much for responding. How was the temperature? Are there USB ports on the lamps?
  22. I was hoping for a comment on configuration and if they stay cooler than other rooms.
  23. I hope they fix the air conditioning issues on Glory. Our balcony on deck 10 and our picture window on 6 were not cool enough to sleep. We thankfully had fans. Also not all rooms have the USB ports in the lamps by the bed.
  24. I loved the Dream when it was in NOLA. We enjoyed the Spa package. Worth every penny!!! We were sad to see it go. It's just too easy to drive 45 minutes to an hour and board in NOLA to go any where else.
