Happy Saturday, Thanks for the Daily and Fleet reports. Beautiful sunny start to the day today. Hope to get some outside chores done before some rain comes in. Update on Chase's biopsy. It did come back as a soft tissue sarcoma which is cancer in cats. The vet believes they got it all, but we have to keep an eye on it in case it comes back. No chemotherapy at this time. I did see that. My thinking is that my cruise is far enough out that the port should reopen as quickly as possible due to the amount of commerce from that port. Luckily, I have flight insurance so if I need to change the flight, I am okay regardless.

I am scheduled on the Sky to disembark in Baltimore in October 2024. This may or may not change. I will patiently await NCL to notify if there are any changes to the itinerary.

Today my thoughts are for the 6 construction workers who are believed to have died after the Baltimore bridge collapse. They were just working and now they are gone. I pray for their families. Good Tuesday morning. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet reports. I am following the story of the bridge collapse as Baltimore is my disembarkation port in October. I am seeing videos of the actual impact. So, devastating and praying for those who are still in the water. It is still an active investigation so it will be a while before we know what actually happened. So much devastation in the world today. As a diabetic, I can tell you that it is a challenge at times. I work hard to keep myself alive as there are so many health effects. I have to be mindful every day of my blood sugars. I have my sugars under control now. My brother died two years ago because he did not seriously manage his own diabetes and frustrated his doctors who were trying to help him. Cloudy today in the 50s. I am working on grading assignments for three classes. It should be a slow week which is good for me. Thinking of all on the care list. Celebrating with all who are celebrating. Today I have to classes that end today and expect the many emails from students asking for more time to submit assignments that that had 8 weeks to do. I am also working on the last two chapters of my dissertation. Coming together nicely. I am officially beginning the countdown to my cruise at 198 days. She holds a special place in my heart as my first HAL cruise ship. Thinking about the two crew members lost and the rest of the crew in their grief. Day 2 of EMDR training. He will be happy to have the cone of shame removed and to be able to have run of the house again. Doing my usual, grading assignments and then teaching this evening. Tomorrow I am back for part two of EMDR training for the entire weekend. Can I just say that there are 202 days until my cruise. I am so ready for it now. Thinking of all on the care list. Fancy is highly anxious when I take her on walks, A yellow harness would be appropriate for her. Chase continues to heal up nicely. He opted today that he was done with the bandage on his foot and somehow got around the cone of shame to remove it. It was to come off tomorrow. He is walking on it fine and his foot looks great. Have a hair appointment this morning and then grading a bunch of assignments and seeing clients this afternoon. I have another weekend of EMDR training this weekend. Thinking of all on the care list. Update on Chase. His foot is healing nicely however, the vet wants the bandage to stay on until Thursday. She said the foot looks good. Thursday the bandage will come off and he can start using the foot. Poor Chase will have to wear the cone of shame for a few more days.
