On the Rotterdam a few months ago there was a sign at the ice cream section of Lido that vegan (may have said non-dairy) ice cream available upon request. It was dark chocolate and very good. On the K’dam last spring they were out of it each time I asked but did have sorbet, which I’m not so sure was true sorbet. Would not surprise me if it was actually sherbet. I have had no issues on any HAL sailings getting non-dairy milk. There is often vegan cheese for pizza, and cream cheese for bagels, if you ask. The Pinnacle class ships have more options, in my experience.

Yes, the table was set up one day only on our R’dam sailing recently. Prices were very good and we purchased several.

I’ve sailed HAL several times as a vegan including recently. In my experience, Pinnacle class ships have more options. The ice cream section of Lido had vegan dark chocolate ice cream, cream cheese and a few other items available if requested. Larger selector non-dairy milks on display. Smaller class ships I have had to ask. They have a huge variety of Beyond meat analogs if you care for them, I do not. The NY Deli has non-dairy cheese (ask, they may be out). Room service is easy. Fruit & oats, other cereals, bagels. I have not seen mayo or Morningstar anywhere on my last sailings. I strongly recommend fixed dining time and table. I like having consistent wait staff and my dinners have been excellent. Always options in Lido but the servers aren’t able to consistently answer questions as they are serving, they’re not the chefs. Please ask me anything…..!

Just sailed Rotterdam on March 29. Stateroom 5169, no issues with reflection or glare. Enjoy your voyage!

Oh, I understand that 😬 Sailed on K’dam in May 2022 and all of us received email 6 hours after disembarking.

Disembarked Rotterdam 48 hours ago. Past sailings I received the email survey within hours. Nothing yet. I am a bit of an introvert and didn’t join the roll-call. thank you - ! 😊

I believe it happened in Alaska off the K’dam in May or June of 2022.

It is the same menu each night.

Thanks so much. I see a few changes since my last cruise May 2022. I am sailing next month and cannot wait to enjoy some of these menu items! 🥰

You can order pizza without cheese or vegan cheese if available at NY Pizza/Deli. I had an extremely attentive MDR Asst Maitre’d on my K’dam cruise in May. I’ve never eaten better on any cruise. Breakfast was Lido or room service, lots of options. Lunch was Lido, NY Pizza or DiveIn. Excellent food and options.

I went to the NY Deli/DiveIn on my last 2 HAL cruises for embarkation lunch. Absolutely no one knows to go, or wants to venture there, and my lunches have been very relaxing after a hectic few days of travel and sightseeing. Originally got that tip on this board several years ago ☺️
