Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Yes, you can put both of you on the same app on one phone. I did all 3 of us on my phone
  2. We were on Kdam last week, and service was ok in the Pinnacle. However, that was the last night of our cruise and we had already tried Canaletto and Tamarind which had AMAZING service (and delicious food) and that made the ok service in Pinnacle look pretty crummy.
  3. Ours did not have QR codes either, and I was able to upload a picture of the test results. Took them about 10-30 minutes to review and then they were accepted.
  4. Thank you Kentuckycruiser, this was so helpful. May I ask how much the internet access cost on Friday?
  5. Sounds wonderful. My 11 year old has severe food allergies, and traveling with her (or even just eating out) requires so much research and calling ahead etc. She is extremely responsible and careful (she is more likely to starve to death than to eat any of her allergens). This software sounds like it would be really useful.
  6. Kentuckycruiser, keep us updated. I am interested in trying the same thing. I have a very non-techy husband and an 11 year old, but it sounds so much easier to to it your way than to trek all over Vancouver looking for tests after our cruise. Our flight out is late night on a Saturday- after all the airport places are closed. We have purchased a tour of Vancouver for the day, and I don't relish the thought of two trips to the airport. Are you doing it on a computer or a phone?
  7. where can I find info on this private one you mentioned?
  8. Our cruise for this week to Alaska was cancelled due to flight issues. After hours on hold with HAL I was ready to rebook with some of the deals they are offering this summer. They said I have to do it through my TA since my original booking was with TA. How long typically before the TA has that info and I can use my credits? I have called them daily with no luck.... Also, has anyone had success in this situation booking directly with HAL and getting HAL to let you bypass the TA? We are less than happy with this TA, and trying to go on this cruise has been a 2 year ordeal with covid cancellations and then the flight fiasco this weekend. Our trip was paid for with HAL gift cards and a credit card. I have learned a lot over these 2 years about cruises and the whole process, and lots of things to do better next time. This is turning into a rant, I guess. I feel like I should not be this stressed over trying to go on vacation.
  9. I think you'd have to get to Seattle and fly home from there.🤷‍♀️
  10. We depart from Vancouver, but the other stops are in Alaska.
  11. Our HAL Alaskan cruise has 7AM on a Saturday as the disembarkation time in Vancouver. We have a very late flight out, and plan to tour Vancouver all day. We need to schedule a Covid test near the port. What is a reasonable time to expect that we will actually be off the ship, and able to walk 10 minutes to the testing site? I want to get those tests done and then go on with the days plans. The airport testing sites will be closed by the time we actually get to the airport for our 11 pm flight.
  12. I want to schedule tests at this location. If my ship arrives at 7 am what time should I schedule my tests?
