  1. I was on Silhouette in November and they were in bottles. I had read they've done away with cans. Why they ever had canned water is beyond me. Tasted awful.
  2. Yeah no kidding. On Wednesday I booked a 13 night TA a deluxe inside for a steal. Less than 24 hours later I get a move up offer at ridiculously high pricing.
  3. I haven't seen the water in cans for awhile now. People complain they're hard to open and some have cut their finger on the metal lid.
  4. Yes I always pick one up for the evening and keep one for excursion next day. The ships water is perfectly fine though so if you forget and have a water bottle just fill it. Just don't put your bottle directly under the spigot, I transfer from a glass.
  5. I was told some of those bags were never even used and purchased as collectors items then sold. I will be on the Beyond in March then on a transatlantic in April so will be checking them out.
  6. I cashed out $100 of my NR OBC and got $98 which went into my wallet then next day tried to play and got locked out was told I had to play at least $40 in cash which I did but then won $180.
  7. Of course they are the real deal. Imagine the flack the lines would receive if it was revealed they were selling fake designer bags. I was on the Apex last year and kept looking at a beautiful LV bag. The girl at the store tried everything in her power to get me to buy it but I wouldn't get the use just not an every day type of bag.
  8. I just got off a Princess cruise and they had pre owned Chanel cotton tote bags selling for thousands of dollars. They were actually quite ugly and yes, taking up precious real estate.
  9. I would be very surprised if the cruise lines sold them as authentic if they were not. Never actually purchased one but have looked at them closely although did not check for SN just markings on zippers, inconsistencies in stitching etc and they seemed fine to me but I wouldn't buy as still felt they were over priced. The lines are making a killing profit wise on these bags even at duty free prices.
  10. Or just get a top up before 7 p.m.
  11. I've been able to get HH drinks from craft social
  12. I've only attended at Cellar Masters on S class ships and yes its a walk about inside and out with a few snacks. It was quite well attended and lots of fun. Last year on the Apex it was held in Eden on the upper level as I mentioned I saw a handful of people who were all seated and didn't look like there was much room certainly not a walk about. I was just hoping next month on the Beyond they might have a few decent wines. I can always check it out before I commit.
  13. I did it a couple of times; not worth me leaving my pool lounger to attend.
  14. Six years ago was way before covid and yes some wines were pretty good as I used to attend all of them on every cruise. Things have changed since including the wines being offered.
  15. I did ask when on the Apex last year and the answer I got was Amazing!!! I don't think there was much interest but I hung around at Eden where they did the tasting and saw a Masi and others on the basic package then left. I only saw a handful of people sitting around.
  16. I may wait till I am onboard. Its only a 10% saving if booking ahead so no great savings. I can then see what they offer not interested in trying a Masi or the poorer quality Chilean wines.
  17. The wines they usually have at World wine tour are from the basic package. Usually 1 ounce pours but you can always ask for more however, there are 6 red and 6 white so thats a lot to consume in an hour.
  18. Its ok its free and fun to do on a sea day if you're not busy. I wouldn't pay for it.
  19. The bartender that served me most nights was the sweetest Filipino and seemed so kind. One night I was in the mood for a glass of pinot noir and he found a bottle of the Elegance which was left over so poured me a glass during the HH. He said most guests don't ask for wine at the Martini bar so it was my lucky night. I tipped him a few $$$.
  20. I'll be in the Beyond March 22nd 10 nights. Thinking of booking the World wine tour but the last 2 cruises the wine tasting has been mediocre. Can anyone who's been on this particular ship comment? I know it can be a fun experience but I hate to waste the money.
  21. Totally agree. I'd never order a steak on a cruise ship. Can't beat what we make on our BBQ or what I get from my favorite steakhouse on land.
  22. I did a TA on Apex last April May 2023 fort lauderdale to Amsterdam 15 nights. Cruise and service was wonderful. I was solo in a deluxe inside cabin. Lots to do onboard during sea days. I would never dream of booking the IV especially crossing the cold Atlantic where you couldn't even sit outside. People who I spoke with did not think it was worth the price.
  23. I've even had the odd Cosmo made with GG vodka during HH I guess because the bartender already had it in his hand. Other times he made me a lemon drop but I guess he was just a really nice friendly bartender. This was on the Apex TA last year.
  24. Martini bar for sure and at least you'll get a decent drink even glass of wine. Wine is house brand and if you are a fan of sauvignon blanc there is a pretty decent one from Chile. Can't get HH drinks in WCB
  25. Any bar except MDR and WCB and not on embarkation day. The drinks are from the HH menu. Just don't get from Casino bar as they use the poorest quality mixers. I dumped my Cosmo from there and got it at the Martini bar.
