Cosmo and Appletini are the martinis served plus white and red wine. The white is pinot grigio and a SB from Chile which was very good. I've even had martinis made with GG vodka at the Martini bar just because he had it in his hand. 😆

I usually get a couple. If I'm refused I just go to another bar. Its only water for heavens sake.

I was on a 15 night TA on the Apex last spring and the wines being offered for wine tour were just from the basic package and several I have had before. Didn't bother to sign up. Why waste $45 plus gratuities.

I also bring on 1 bottle and receive 2 additional in my cabin. Elite plus so take advantage of the drinks at the Elite breakfast and HH. Never gone thirsty. There are also plenty of opportunities for Elite members for free drinks at various venues throughout the cruise. I don't ever miss not having a drinks package

Why set yourself up? Just walk out with your drink.

I do it all the time. Usually there by 8 get a small plate of fruit and a mimosa then order a second mimosa and take it to the MDR to enjoy with a full breakfast. Never been stopped

I agree. Some people are still using their FCCs from covid but that will end soon. Prices are sure to drop when they find themselves with a lot of unsold cabins. I know for myself I took advantage of cheap prices and low passenger capacity in 2021 and 2022. Our Edge sailing in January 2022 had 670 onboard.

I would not be surprised if they do as Celebrity has quite a few seniors who sail many are solo and being retired watch their dollars. I sail by myself quite often and join solo groups on the first night there are more of us than people realize. A couple cruises ago I met two men who were traveling alone they had both recently lost their wives but decided to go ahead and take the cruise. Most likely no loss of revenue to Celebrity as the cabin would already be paid at double occupancy. I'll be looking at other lines; already booked on a Princess cruise later this month. 10 nights Southern Caribbean at half Celebrity's price.

The Cherry Pie isn't even that good a Pinot Noir. Wish they carried more from the Russian River valley or Oregon.

Posted this earlier but I was charged $1 plus 20 cents gratuities for a drink over my package limit. On the line for extra gratuities I added a zero with a line through it.

And that's what I plan on doing. I have a cruise booked on the Beyond in March for which I paid solo supplement but unless they revert back to charging 2x I will look elsewhere. Who knows, things may change yet again. Perhaps they are testing the waters.

Time to try NCL even though I am Elite plus with Celebrity. Based on principle alone I refuse to pay more than double the cost.

I love the E class deluxe inside cabins at 210 sq feet so spacious. Don't miss a balcony and extra cash to spend.

I remember on the November 2022 cruise I was on CS Mondavi was being served a lot which was part of basic wines and many who had the premium package were ordering it as was a really nice cab. Imagine purchasing the PBP then ordering off basic! I was drinking it as part of my Elite benefits.

Its 20% based on the cost of the drink. I also had the PBP and ordered a drink that was a buck over and was charged an extra 20 cents so presented with a bill for $1.20. I've also gone to GR to complain for various reasons and drinks were removed from my account; this is when I have not had a package so guess it all works out in the wash. I do understand the reasoning behind this.

Would anyone know if the WCB is on Beyond. I had read they were going to add it since it is so popular. I do like the odd drink even though I don't have a package.

Who are they kidding? HAD, as in years gone by. I have a cruise booked in March on the Beyond and will take note of their offerings by the glass.

I used to love the drinks at WCB but since they changed contracts I don't find them as good. I bring my own red wine on-board so no need to buy the package as Elite plus and I find that sufficient. I do miss the sparkling water but refuse to pay 7.50 plus gratuities per bottle.

Yes but nothing turned in. Same situation with my grandsons reef flip flops taken while he was in the hot tub. We went to pool attendant and guest services twice. Had I not insisted he bring a pair of runners he would have been barefoot leaving the ship. What is it with people, do they just help themselves to whatever they want?

Where were those so called cameras when she stole my Chanel sunglasses right from my lounger? I was chatting with her in the pool and she kept looking at them: a half hour later they were gone. Totally my fault for bringing anything valuable on board but it was my second cruise.

Some people will steal for the thrill. They actually have no use for the item they've taken. Happend to me twice on a Princess cruise ship.
