  1. Yes and a generous amount with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was all delicious.
  2. It was served on Day 1 in MDR. Maybe I just got a great cut.
  3. Who in their right mind would buy a drink package just because they don't have to sign a piece of paper! Mind blowing.
  4. They purchase in volume for all their fleet so guessing a few bucks a bottle most.
  5. Just off the Silhouette in November and the prime rib served on the first night was among some of the best I've ever tasted.
  6. We didn't know until after 20 minutes I saw he was on the I-95 and wondered why. So if we canceled who knows how much longer the wait would be. Once he arrived he said he'd never been to the FLL Airport. Last year I was going to Riverside hotel and taxi asked me where I was going he already had 3 passengers in van and quoted me $35. I said no thanks then he said quietly how about $20. Sounded good to me.
  7. Its $54.95 (2021) CAD at our Liquor control board in Ontario but I do like it and haven't seen it since 2018 so bought 2 bottles. Another pinot I like is Belle Glos and was lucky enough to find some delisted so I bought them all. Also from Russian River valley.
  8. The Elegance pinot and cab were both on the premium package in 2022 which is the last time I took the AI.
  9. I just bought La Crema pinot from Russian River. Delicious but not cheap.
  10. Not a fan of Decoy Pinot. Our Caymus in Canada sells for $110 so in comparison a pretty good price as taxes already included.
  11. Its $40 canadian but I mostly, not always, purchase wines that are delisted at 20 off usually run about 80 bucks regular price. Found some great ones; Freemark abbey, Auros from Napa, Austin Hope to name a few.
  12. That name sounds familiar he may have been the beverage manager on my November 20th Silhouette sailing who delivered the Beringer to my cabin. Very tall man.
  13. The Tini sauvignon blanc from Chile was decent and on classic package.
  14. I guess the cruise lines can charge whatever the consumer will bear whether by the glass or bottle. The Decoy on board was $62 beringer I was told sells for $80 but I didn't see on any menu maybe luminae had it or a specialty restaurant. I was happy to have both given to me and was enough for the 10 nights.
  15. I just got off the Silhouette November 30th and taxi driver said $25, so that's what I gave him. I had an 11 am flight home to Canada which I didn't want to miss.
  16. I always go to the Elite breakfast and order a Bellini then a Mimosa which I take to the MDR. Don't purchase drink packages.
  17. I don't bother with uber as too expensive. When I put in the app and converted to Canadian currency would have cost me $44 to airport so I took a cab for 20 bucks. Last year used uber from FLL to the Hilton and the driver came from Miami we waited 45 minutes then he charged me waiting time as he parked in wrong area. I went through the app and got a credit for my wait time.
  18. I like the villa maria but purchase the reserve from Wairu Valley I took one onboard as my included bottle and once finished I ordered from the bar which is not nearly as good.
  19. I prefer mine with Veuve Cliquot but they wouldn't give it to me.
  20. I enjoyed the Decoy cab they gave me on my recent cruise it was on the wine list for $62 a bottle. Also received a beringee Knights valley which retails higher but didn't enjoy as much. My waiter knew which wine I was drinking and would pour me a glass every evening.
  21. I enjoyed the Elite plus benefits on my cruise last month. Got some nice free specialty teas and coffees during the day and a 15% discount at Sushi on 5 which I wasn't aware of. Went twice. I feel I got my benefits worth. Wont make Zenith nor do I care to.
  22. I took my 11 year old grandson on an RCU cruise this August. He was in the hit tub watching a movie ans when he got out his Reef sandals were gone. My daughter had bought them fif the cruise paid $75. We checked by the pool towels area also guest relations on two occasions and never turned up. Glad I insisted he take his runners on the cruise or he'd be barefoot.
  23. The Chilean SB that I listed earlier is on the basic package. I also saw it in the buffet.
  24. Being on a ship is like living in a small city; you still have thieves onboard. I once had some sunscreen taken from my lounger and an expensive pair of sunglasses that were in their pouch sitting on my book from the lounger. I now take a cheap pair to wear in the pool and on deck. Just because one can afford to cruise does not mean they are honest.
  25. I actually preferred the Decoy to the Beringer Knights Valley that they gifted me even though Beringer is more expensive. Not sure where they found it as it was not on any wine list I saw, maybe Luminae or one of the Specialty restaurants. I didn't try any of the red wines during Elite HH except a glass of Tini on basic package which is a Chilean Sauvignon blanc. Surprisingly good.
