I have saved thousands of dollars over the years by NOT buying a package for my drinks. I used to do packages, but after a while it felt like an obligation just to hit the daily average number needed to break even. Not buying the package actually allows me to enjoy drinking at my leisure much better.
Plus and Premier do NOT cover spa gratuities. It only covers the “normal” gratuities for the cabin steward, MDR staff, buffet staff, etc. When you purchase something above and beyond what is covered by your normal cruise fare….gratuities are added. It’s no different than them being added to purchased drinks, drink packages, and specialty dining.
Non fresh squeezed juices are included in your basic cruise fare. That had nothing to do with the soda package. The description on NCL’s page ONLY mentions soda.
As was stated above, the schedule for your specific itinerary won’t be available until about 3 weeks out at the farthest from your embarkation. And that’s just the schedule for the major shows. The other itinerary details may not be set until even closer to embarkation. This just isn’t going to be something that’s available this far out. I’m about 40 days from my next sailing and this info isn’t available.
Consider this…you are paying for the Key for everyday of your cruise, however the benefits are HEAVILY loaded on embarkation day. You are paying for very minimal benefits for all the other days.
This would not be a wise decision. You would technically be an illegal visitor to the country once the gangway goes up and you can be in the hook for any fines incurred by the cruise line.
Aft balconies are much better as front ones get cold and windy when the ship is moving and can have use restrictions. I have seen restrictions include not being able to be in your balcony at night and other times you cannot be on your balcony at all if the ship is at sea. Aft balconies have no use restrictions and are more pleasant to use when at sea
My first Alaskan cruise was in NCL and our dock was so far away from the actual town that I left with a bad impression of Juneau. This summer we cruised on Royal and docked in town….whole different experience! LOL. Our first cruise predated this and other websites so we didn’t know what we were missing out on. We just stuck our heads out our balcony, saw a very ugly dock, and said “Nope!” 😂🤣
I will be on that same cruise in an Haven aft suite. There is no option to have 2 doubles instead of the king. Both the 2 bedroom family villa and deluxe owner suites are sold out unfortunately. See you at the Horizon Lounge if you decide to stick with a Haven cabin!!
Never even heard of this post-COVID, but if these was a 3-4 day booze cruise I could see there being enough knuckleheads aboard to start doing this after their 12th drink before noon.
