  1. E class ships don’t have fixed early or late dining. It’s all Select dining
  2. Good question. Probably what the main issue is IV’s are listed under “Verandah” category of rooms and when one thinks of Verandah, they probably assume a true balcony.
  3. Travelled on Edge with a group of 6 last March and 2 of the couples (not us) booked Concierge and went to this lunch. They said food was ok but they were in there for 2 hours trying to order and get served. We traveled again with this group on Equinox and 3 of the couples had concierge (including us) and did NOT go to the Concierge lunch (live and learn)
  4. We prefer Cosmopolitan. We like the decor and ambiance and the staff working the front was awesome Tuscan was probably our least favorite
  5. E class ships (incl Edge) does not have fixed dining and you need to either pre book a dining time for each night or show up as a wait list. Unfortunately Celebrity system allows you to select Early, Late or Select but it’s all Select
  6. Interesting you say that because we cruised with a group of 8 and one of the couples were in Aqua Class but dined the entire cruise in MDR. They tried Blu one night and said they couldn’t find anything they cared to eat on Blu menu, got up and went to the MDR to join us.
  7. We’re doing Beyond in Jan 2025 and booked 11th deck midship IV we usually do Sunset V but they were all gone and similar to OP, we decided to try it for ourselves Last March we travelled with friends who had an IV. Husband loved it as it felt like the cabin was bigger. Wife not so much
  8. Are you staying in a hotel pre cruise? They might store them until you get back
  9. It was a gal from Oklahoma but can’t remember her name. She was pretty good
  10. We’ve had similar experience and haven’t figured out if they’re not as visible because a) they are super busy due to less staff b) Covid made them less likely to interact frequently c) both of the above Reason to suspect b) is some don’t hand shake anymore and will only do fist pump
  11. Were there other SV’s available 18 months ago ? Generally on the Edge, I would stay away from decks 12 and 7 only from the standpoint they are above or below public spaces As for whether you’ll get noise, not a clue other than there’s bound to be an older crowd and older people go to bed early
  12. We’ve done 11270 and 11271 on the Edge and both rooms were excellent and quiet . As someone mentioned, the SV’s are quite a walk to the elevators but we liked that aspect (privacy and getting in steps)
  13. We just did 11:08am from the Equinox to FLL and had a lot of time to spare before the flight (everything went as planned)
  14. I would pick south in a heartbeat as you have many things to see within relatively short distances including Sorobon beach, Salt flats, Mangroves and Donkey Sanctuary The north, in my opinion, doesn’t have as many things to see and there are long stretches of road between some sights
  15. You’re not understanding what I’m saying. There is Haiti, which is a poor and dangerous place to visit, and then there is this isolated compound that resembles a private island that’s protected. It may be in Haiti but it’s not Haiti
  16. Not if you stay on the property it isn’t
  17. The port stop in Haiti is a private island. It’s not Haiti
  18. Ok see what I mean. One post said it’s all open seating and another says if it’s select dining, that I can make reservations I’m still confused
  19. We’re doing Nassau in June and just booked Margaritaville Day Pass. Figured it’s close and closed off to the public so we’ll be ok
  20. Will be on the Beyond in Jan 2025. We used to be able to book MDR for Anytime dining was about 12 months out. But I’m checking the app and dining booking not open yet. I have searched the internet but getting various responses and they’re all dated. If anyone knows, let me know.
  21. You are correct. It was the other side called Master Bar. Or was just beside the walking track. Some days it wasn’t bad and others were really bad as you walked past it trying to get a healthy stroll
