We had the same trouble for an Oct 2025 cruise so I just arranged 2 tables (one for 6 and the other for 4) and we’ll just rotate table mates each night

As the day after Santorini is “at Sea” and next stop is Kotor, a fast ferry is not a good idea in my case Thanks for everyone’s feedback

So I know Santorini is a tender port and most passengers are brought to Skala (Fira). 2 questions: 1) Do they send all passengers with Princess excursions to Athinios? 2) Do Princess excursion passengers get brought back to Athinios or is everyone brought back to Fira to ride the cable car?

It seems like ETIAS is coming in mid 2025 as the system won’t be ready until late 2024 or early 2025 So we’re booked on a 2026 Med cruise and probably have lots of time but does anyone know if the cruise line will take care of ETIAS applications for their passengers or all passengers on their own to do this ? And if I’m on my own, will the cruise line offer any assistance in the application process ?

We are doing a Med cruise in May 2026 and was able to book anytime dining for around 7pm each night. I would suggest to keep trying

I don’t consider this a PUP as it’s really not a non cost way of achieving PUP’s. So it’s not really available to everyone

They’ve also had something in July of every year and look what happened this year (0). I’m not hopeful. Sorry

I’ll guess because of over 717,000 views and almost 10K in replies, that Celebrity is watching this thread. And because of that, I will also express my disappointment that they chose a shameless approach to connect PUP’s to a booking and make it look like PUP’s are being offered to the general public, when in fact, most Celebrity customers will not be able to take advantage of them. Celebrity - you need to do better than this

I’m assuming from the talk and trend that PUP’s will cease to exist and then this thread will end. Sorry for the doomsday declaration but that’s how I see it

In our part of the country, school starts by mid August (next week) and in some states not until after Labor Day. We booked next year for Aug 30th

Just curious why you would think there wouldn’t be any kids in early August?

1. It would be nice if these kinds of processes and rules on how it works would be made clear up front by Princess 2. I don’t like that it comes to me by OBC. Would rather just come to me by a credit to my card. Doesn’t seem like it’s free if it’s OBC as it’ll be tempting to spend it onboard (but maybe that’s the strategy)

This is also my biggest pet peeve as it usually results in the waiter bringing a receipt that I need to sign to approve the difference.

I predict that it will not end however PUPS awarded for each event will be less than normal (ie 10 PUPS or 1 club point)

I would also like to see Gratuities rolled back into the all inclusive package however, I’m wondering if part of the logic is that employee gratuities are pure and not to be messed with. What I mean is Cruise lines will discount the all inclusive package sometimes but they can’t really do that with monies destined for the crew. So perhaps the only way to accomplish both package discounts and maintaining gratuities without deductions is to separate it into its own fee. Just a hunch

I think the ratio of balconies to IV’s does need to increase but even if you doubled the number of balconies from current, the ratio would still stink. Next class of ship definitely needs to consider this

Celebrity Xcel is launching Nov 2025 and will be from Fort Lauderdale

I’m not saying I’m angry but I have worked for a large multi national company and understand that if one of the dates you publicize is July 17th as the start of answering questions, that people will look that day and call you out if nothing is there. So when Celebrity out out these dates, I would have assumed someone would have made sure that at least one question got answered on that publicized date.
