Saw on YouTube a woman stole a puppy from one of the Ididarod training facilities in Alaska. She was able to keep it quiet on the bus but obviously got stopped going back through security getting onto the ship. Bottom line, $10,000 fine, lifetime ban on all cruise lines as well as lifetime ban on visiting Alaska ever again.

Our strategy is to accumulate the chips, after our B2B, we'll have 4 plus 2 from our last cruise. DH will put 3 chips or 75.00 on both red and black. If it comes up green, we lose it all. If it comes up black or red we win 75 and then pocket the winnings and do it again, placing 1 chip on black and red. If green doesn't come up, we pocket the winning chip and then do it again with our two remaining chips. As long as black or red come up three consecutive times, we will win 125.00.

Nowhere near as nice as the 3 Vista Class ships. The Havana area on the Excel Class was an afterthought. The Vista Class had a great aft view, a pool, 2 hot tubs and two tiki huts. The Excel gives you a starboard view with a postage stamp sized pool that is smaller than the hot tubs on the Vista ships. The bean counters were more concerned with generating revenue with Loft 19.

Not at all. The problem is that parents take a vacation from parenting when they go cruising. They figure that the kids can't get lost, so they let them run wild to do their thing while they sip on a frozen drink pool side.

We live in Southern NJ, about 1/4 of the way going from Philly to Atlantic City. We lucked out as the eye of the storm passed over us and we had no damage. Friends of ours that are about 90 minutes northwest of us in the far suburbs of Philly got hit and luckily were only out of electricity for a few days. Portions of the North NJ shore and along Long Island got crushed by the outer rings of the storm.

With a plethora of half eaten pizzas for sure. Mommy and Daddy will be getting the free slices for their little darlings up at Slice now that there's a charge at Alfredo's/Gigi's.
