I think I read in this forum by another poster that had a cruise line issued airfare reservation, information numbers are not available until approximately 2 weeks prior to departure. I would assume that is somewhat accurate and makes since… Once that information is provided I can research and complete the remaining recommendations that you’ve provided I do know departure/arrival and flight number, but that’s it…I will follow up with airlines (and cruise line) to get more information… Thanks again forthe helpful info and suggestions 😊

Thank you @em-sk that’s exactly what I was looking for… The airlines is Lufthansa operated by Air Canada So does this apply to my airfare? I’m hoping so 🤞🏽😊

@6rugrats thank you for responding - it’s an economy ticket from Toronto to BCN @klfrodo thank you for the info - good point, I think I will cancel and book my own airfare I was thinking that there was an opportunity to upgrade at the counter. Like when they make announcements for passengers waiting to board a flight, if they would like to upgrade if there are seats available …. but I guess they don’t do that anymore

I booked my flight to BCN via cruise line, can I upgrade at the airline ticket counter if I want a different seat when I arrive at the airport? Just wondering if there will be an opportunity to upgrade, better fare at the ticket counter or should I just pay for the business class seat now… Please share your thoughts and experiences….. thanks

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, so please excuse the imposition…. I have mediations that need to be refrigerated, how is this handle on a long haul flight? Traveling to Barcelona from Detroit in May. Connection is in Canada. Flight is 12 hours. Any info would be appreciated 😊

Celebration did not have it on the December 19 cruise either. It was not on the Freedom either in July. I hope they have it on Venezia in May and the Jubilee in January 2024…..

Closer to my vacation in Spain, just booked the ARC LA RAMBLA in downtown Barcelona 😁 - they will pick me up at the airport - take me to the hotel so that I can store my luggage (great tip from the lovely cruisers here) and head out to tour the city with Spain Day Tours, to try to stay awake and stay alert 👀 (thanks for the warning TravelerK, I'd read somewheres else about the pickpockets), cause if they try me they would just be practicing LOL!! For the flight, I went with Carnival Fly2fun, because they were much cheaper than the fares I was seeing on other sites, $750 one-way (ouch) 🙄

Booked on the May 29, 2023, 15-day T/A sailing from Barcelona, Spain to NYC - very excited!!! 🤪

Searching for hotels and flights right now, it's really bad if you're flying from MI, flights are in the thousands for one-way 😲 The ARC LA RAMBLA looks like a good place for an overnight stay, prices are reasonable and close to the port and not far from the airport.... I may book this hotel for my pre-stay

Just booked this TA as well, looking forward to a great cruise and excitable port experiences..... First time to Spain, so excited 🤪
