Agree whole-heartedly! We paid for an aft balcony on the Vista and it felt like a waste of money. All our time was spent in the outdoor Havana area. I would certainly book an inside Havana next time

I do almost everything on my phone BUT really disliked having to have it with me at all times on the ship. I prefer the paper FUN times and menus. I am a very visual person and like seeing everything printed out so I can do a process of elimination while trying to decide what to eat or what to do that day.

They brought back that you could now buy ONE bottle for the room. The new pricing now makes me think twice about actually doing it though

Here in Eastern Canada our Falls have been just getting nicer and warmer. RD64 is correct about the seafood restaurant in Charlottetown. It is called Water Prince Corner Shop and it will be open still in September. Anne of Green Gables Chocolates are located just around the corner and up a couple blocks from the restaurant, on Queen Street. If you are docking in Halifax, I recommend doing an excursion to Peggy's Cove. It is a beautiful spot. Bring layers as others have suggested and be prepared for this Maritime kindness! I know a lot of people worry about how long it will take to process their passport application. I applied on December 12th, 2022 in person at our local Service Canada office and received it by courier today, December 28th, 2022. Not a bad turn around time especially when you consider it was processed over Christmas. Also, I didn't pay to have it expedited.

We have the Panorama booked for October 2023. This will be our first time cruising from the west coast, I feel like a newb all over again trying to plan flights, hotels etc but I'm sure I'll manage!! Thanks for the tips.

On the Carnival site it states everything it will have for the kids. I don' think there is anything missing. For the kids, there’s spaces made just for their age like Camp Ocean™, Circle “C”® and Club O2®. And outdoors, get ready for a very splashy WaterWorks™, SportSquare™ featuring a ropes course, jogging track, mini golf and outdoor fitness center.

We just had this situation and decided Interior on Lido. Hopefully it still works that the tv can be set to the bridge cam (sound turned off) so you can wake to a "natural" light.

They recently changed it that you can pay for purchases with your OBC before you are even on board. We had $700OBC and were able to book our excursions using it before we sail. Instead of choosing CC to pay, there will be an option to pay with OBC

It is a larger balcony. It is classed as a category 8F so it is going to cost more than just a regular balcony.

Vista Class....best rooms ever!! Wouldn't spend the extra money to be on the side of the ship now

We got a 7 day on the Carnival Celebration for $1948 USD for 2, extended balcony including Cheers for both of us. We have $700 OBC as well but that is from a previously cancelled cruise and a shareholders benefit. We haven't cruised since February 2020 so November can't come fast enough!
