Julie @OzKiwiJJ, I have a special request. If possible, could you find out what benefits (i.e. OBC) there are when booking a specific cruise while on board as opposed to booking with an FCD with its built-in OBC (which is $50.00 pp for cruises of 11-21 days).
Only if not too tricky - Thanks in advance 🙂
Have been to Hobart several times (even made it to Mt Wellington with decent visibility last month) Only port on that itinerary I haven't been is Timaru.
I like that it includes Akaroa and not Lyttelton.
So far the price is fairly high (especially when solo), so I'll have to check on the possibilities of re-fareing when prices drop.
Not just a refuel stop. Per AIS, Orion arrived at 08:20 this morning and is still there now (16:00 NZ time).
AIS now shows Adelaide as next port of call with an ETA of 31/12 at 06:00.
Interestingly she shares the wharf in Wellington with Coral Princess ...
I'll be going on my third Noordam cruise this February (after 2018 and 2019) and would be happy to then answer any particular questions you may have. Which itinerary are you interested in?
I never really got into mince pies and I would sulk too without stollen at Xmas - unless I was on a cruise, that would compensate ... 🤣 I made sure to buy mine at Aldi as soon as they came out 😉
Glad to hear you also had Cantaré. I thought they were absolutely fabulous. I missed their second show. Later in the cruise CD Chris did a "meet the performers" with them in the BB KIng lounge, very interesting and a lot of fun.
