Trying to decide between the Emerald & the Discovery for a 15 night Hawaii cruise. Have been on both ships before & have done the Hawaii cruise numerous times. Discovery overnights in Honolulu & goes 2 other Hawaii ports & the Emerald goes to 4 Hawaii ports. Which ship do you think would be less crowded with more places to go & be better with all the sea days. Thanks!
Yep. Too bad they didn’t open them up like they did on the Royal. I was so happy the 2nd time we sailed on the Royal they opened them up. A narrow staircase but better than nothing.
Are the midship stairs open to passengers on the Grand Princess? Seems to me the last time we were on her they weren’t, but they’re showing up on the deck plans. Also, are the mini suite balconies on Deck 9 covered or uncovered? Thanks!😀
FYI. I’ve always had my name 1st on booking. When I send in the requests for shareholders asking for it to me under me 9 times out of 10 they put it under my husbands anyway & then I have to send a request back to them again & tell him to put it under me. Husband gets military. No need to change her name to be 1st on reservation.
I’m a little confused about some of the other posts that I’ve read. If we take an Uber from our hotel in downtown Seattle will it drop us off right at Pier 91 or are we going to have to walk a distance. And then on the way back where would we catch an Uber back downtown again & would we have to walk far to catch one? Thanks so much!!!
I signed up for the Port Valet. Now wondering the last day of the cruise do I check myself in online or does the cruise ship or the valet service check you in? Thanks
I’m interested in a car service to take us from the airport to a downtown hotel. I know Uber/Lyft is an option but my husband likes prearranged car services better. Thanks.
