It's not the first time Woz has been on a Princess ship. We did a Bon Voyage Experience in San Francisco a number of years ago and he was on the ship. He very graciously allowed my husband to have his picture taken with him. Thanks Cruise Raider for a great review it makes me want to make sure we are on a ship in 2026.

@dickinson that's odd. I purchased mine after reading your message that you hadn't received your electronic gift cards by email. I got my gift card emails within a couple of minutes. I hope you receive the email soon and don't have to go chasing it up.

Yes, they are electronic and are available to use as soon as you receive them from AARP. I’ve always received them a few minutes after purchase and I always check the balance of each one on the Princess website as soon as they are received.

@Gatorinmd I did this recently at Guest Services on the Crown Princess without any problems. I had a print out of the gift card with pin and had written down the balance of the card after using a portion of it to pay for a cruise.

@AlpacaBagmy husband had the same problem this week, credit card is not the issue. AARP opened up a ticket for him also.

@Cruise Raider you might want to also check the Crown Grill Bar. We found that the SB that we like that was previously available at Vines is available at the Crown Grill by the glass.

We purchased the premium package the day we embarked on a 7 night Pacific Coastal cruise. It was the same price as what it was if we had added it when booking the cruise. We had OBC towards the purchase and also by adding it once on the ship we did not have to pay the additional Princess vacation insurance that would have been payable had we purchased it when booking the cruise. We also received the $10 credit which I thought was probably related to the shipping of medallions had we paid for them to be shipped, which we hadn't as I ordered them before they started charging for shipping on no frills fares.

I took painters tape on our last cruise which worked like a charm. I was able to peel it back when I needed the closet light and recover the sensor all week with the same piece of tape without any problems or damage.

We recently got on a tour that we had been waitlisted for. We were waitlisted for quite some time and since we had onboard credit to use for payment I wasn't even aware that we had got on the tour until I printed the travel summary a week or so before the cruise.
