  1. Thanks, so they are leaving late on Sunday, that really helps.
  2. Anyone get the email for the Elation? Are they offering any compensation if you cannot make it or do not even get the message. Not even sure most insurance would cover this particular situation.
  3. Quest is not happening on any Excel class ship, I was on all three last year and they have replaced it with Adult Game Night which is just sad and boring. Their excuse is that they do not feel they have a location that works for Quest. Heald did say it was at the discretion of the Cruise Director and it also did not happen on my Liberty cruise last month. It was on the Pride and Paradise this year.
  4. I thought the same thing when we were on the Liberty last month. Adam is an amazing cruise director. As good as any in my opinion and I wondered if Carnival appreciated him as much as they should and if he had any input in his posting.
  5. Lots of footage in this video of Port of Miami and where you get picked up and dropped off.
  6. Lately they have been taking app, entree, and dessert orders all at once in the beginning.
  7. None for me on Hilton or Business card.
  8. This is the true beauty of YTD. If you like your table and server on night one, just ask to make that your table and crew for the week. If you do not, try again tomorrow night.
  9. This is so true, FTTF appears to have no impact on luggage arrival.
  10. FTTF does include that feature. That is Priority check in. Getting into the terminal at 9:30 and on the ship at 10:45 is really the only reason I purchase FTTF, but this will be the last cruise I will need it as I will finally be Platinum. Port Canaveral does it correctly too, they make people exit the FTTF area in the same order they arrived and seated. Note: VIFP Club Diamond & Platinum members do not need to purchase this package as these and other benefits are included as part of your VIFP Club status.) Priority Check-in Upon arrival to the terminal, look for the Priority line to check-in. Stateroom Access Once on board, you will be able to drop off your bags in your stateroom until your room is ready. Express Luggage Your luggage will be expedited to your stateroom so you can unpack and get settled in for a great vacation! Guest Services You'll have a dedicated phone number and line at Guest Services so you can quickly have your questions answered. Dining Reservations Priority Main Dining Room and Specialty Restaurant reservations (excluding Your Time Dining). Priority Water Shuttle Boarding We hope you take advantage of Carnival's Excursions. If you choose to explore the destination on your own, you will have the option to choose a priority water shuttle from the ship to shore. Debarkation We're always sad to see you go. But when your cruise is over, you may choose an early or late debarkation time upon arrival to your homeport.
  11. Yes, the logo should be on your luggage tags. I am surprised they do not reflect that already.
  12. White night probably not on a five-night cruise. You will most likely have only the 80's Deck Party. There will definitely be an Elegant night though and it will be your 2nd night of the cruise.
  13. Yes, I tested this exact question at Terminal three March 8th to board the Liberty which is the same port and terminal as the Mardi Gras. Even though I had a 10:30 check in time, I got into the Priority line at 9am. We were let into the building at 9:30 and seated in the FTTF section and we started boarding the ship around 10:40. I recorded the process and the layout of terminal three if you would like to see it. Parking in Terminal 3 also opened up around 8am in case you saw the note on the site that it does not open until 10am. There will be a faster to the fun logo on your boarding pass and that is what the staff is looking for to allow you into the priority line. https://youtu.be/TaYJXaj2Iyk
  14. No, it does not really matter. Always wondered why they asked honestly. They do not wait or try to find people who do not arrive.
  15. So far this year we have used Digital Debark on the Jubilee and the Liberty, and we chose checked bags on the Jubilee and Express (carry all our own bags) on the Liberty. The process worked fine. On day two of each cruise, I chose our option and debark time. My only complaint about the process was that luggage tags were not delivered until 7:30PM on the last night. I would like to have had them earlier. Some people have complained that they were out of checked luggage tags by the time they signed up for debarkation, so make your choice early in the cruise.
  16. Love that they are back to ordering more ships, but it is time to start raising the quality of goods and services onboard again. It was understandable after Covid, but now we should see some of that come back again.
  17. I brought and used a Mango travel router on my last three cruises, December (Pride) January (Jubilee), March (Liberty). No issues, but I doubt they noticed it was there. Mine worked about two decks and three cabins away, but crazily all the way to Fat Tuesdays in Cozumel from my Cabin on the ship. I did not know Carnival even had a policy on them, but we love it. Allows the entire family internet access when in the room. Also has a built in Firewall for protection.
  18. I think I list the exact time in the video, but it was before 11.
  19. That is a good cabin. Near the Elevators, only two floors up to the restaurants, nothing above or below you that should make noise.
  20. I have been on three other lines in the past year and I kind of agree with him. Certainly, food quality has seriously diminished in recent years on Carnival, but it also has on all the other lines and Carnival is really stepping it up with the food on Excel class ships. That most of these options are still free is also impressive compared to other lines. Royal food was not better this year and the options were fewer. Also, food does not have to be good to be the best in cruising, it just has to be better than the other guy.
  21. Same here, I meticulously pick my cabins, so no upgrade they have ever offered has been enticing.
  22. It certainly is not fine dining, but people seemed to appreciate it.
  23. They opened the doors to the priority line for our cruise at 9:15am. The earliest check in appointment for that cruise was 9:30.
