We were on the Apex in March. Pre supper (5 to 5:45) drinks in the martini bar area. Never at the bar. Always had good seats and excellent service. The public restrooms I (we) used always had plenty of cloth and paper towels and soap dispensers always had soap. The rest rooms were always clean. In the evening there was always (like other Celebrity ships) an attendant in the public restrooms.
So why the complaint? Nothing to do with Celebrity. That's all on you since you already were aware of their simple to follow and understand policy. Celebrity's policy is the same no matter the itinerary or the number of days.
Your fault. You should have read the simple published dress code recommendation's on Celebrity's website for the dining venues. Yoga pants are great for the gym and buffet. Length of cruise and itinerary has nothing to do with it.
Sounds like another cut.
We did a B2B March 2022 on the Explorer and we had reserved seating for the ice show and theater. We took advantage of the seating for the ice show as the seats were in a good location. Didn't sit in the ones in the theater as we didn't like the location of the seats.
IMO, it's only worth it to the person getting the additional value with the perks/benefits by moving up to the next tier level. We don't chase the tier levels but appreciate getting the perks/benefits when we finally reach that next tier level. What sucks is when the perks/benefits are eliminated or reduced.
We avoid any cabin that is above or below any public areas. Not taking the chance. Others opinions and experiences maybe different than our threshold for pain.
Our last Princess cruise was 2010. No medallions at that time. We have a cruise booked on the Enchantment for March 2024. What's the benefits of having the medallion mailed to you v just picking it up at the embarkation terminal when you check-in?
