Stick with the baseball hat. A much better look. 😁 Everthing eslse you mentioned is acceptable for the MDR for breakfast and lunch in thre MDR. I prefer to wear vans. Hate flip flops and sandals.
We stayed in a forward facing cabin on the Eclipse on one of our Caribbean cruises. We liked the cabin. The room heated up quickly when we left the curtains opened all the way. Learned to close them before leaving for the day. The only issue for me was the slanted window when looking out. Easy to bump your forehead.
IMO, I disagree. We like to book as early as possible to ensure we get the dining time, two top in a location we want for DMW. Something we were able to do before the new change! 🙄
I was told this AM they couldn't book our requested DMW dining reservations for our October 2025 cruise. I'll call back in August. But I've had success with cruises booked a year or less out when I first booked the cruises and before final payment. Call as your experience may be different.
We always select a deck and cabin location based on no public areas above or below us. We enjoy the motion of the ocean so being forward isn't an issue for us.
I always skip the MDR on sea days for lunch. Once in awhile I'll get a burger at the mast/pool grill. I'm either sitting on the balcony watching the sea or up on the deck above the pool deck enjoying my BP soaking up the sun. No T shirt required. 😎🍻
