  1. I suspect Lyft or Uber will becan option so long as the port allows for them I had one question about the raw bar. Many years ago on Crystal I fondly remember coming into lunch with cold lobster medallions served. Is lobster an item on the evening raw bar. I only know about this raw bar from posts here on CC Thanks and have a spectacular time

  7. Had a memory flash back to the Ocean Islander a 275 passenger 4770 GT ship that was fantastic long ago up the Orinoco River One English female passenger a Barrister woukd often dance sans undergarments to the delight of the crew
  8. My 1st cruise was Song of Norway in 1980 and was back on another cruise 6 months later and continue to this day. I did notice my 1st grey chest hair while on the Golden Odyssey of Royal cruise line. You have been at this cruising a long time. Love it truly
  9. I too am excited about our upcoming Explora journeys cruise. Lots to compare with from over 40 pkus years cruising. I recall in my early 30s traveling on the Golden Odessey another no.longer existing cruise line and was asked by an older fellow passenger how i was able to afford the trip and then was criticized because i had longer hair at the time. I have a lot less hair these days lol Thanks
  10. Went on Royal Viking where i found the waiters snooty and a few stowaways on our Mexican riviera cruise lol

  13. Great to know i too like Paul's and Srickman posts I will be on starting October 3 and plan to post. I have been on a lot of lines from most eschalons in the cruising arena Glad to see Srickman loves it I too am very optimistic from all i have seen Thank you
  14. Lobster rolls MY FAVORITE I plan to explore a variety of Lobster on our trip Halifax is full of Lobster fisherfolks i am told along with some great smoked salmon aka lox

  16. Indeed in my 20s i bought a watch in Tijuana and just as i was crossibf the border back to the US it stopped. It continued to stop at the same time every day

We were given a lot of Turkish coffee of additional interest is the fact that 1 of the sales guys in the tent was studying the science of growing chickens. we communicated after we returned to California where we lived at the time. And I connected him with a friend of ours who was a large chicken grower and they connected. Small world when connected with a warm hearts. Looking forward to connecting on board the ship
