Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thank you all for your replies - next time it goes down to 25% off I think we’ll just buy it and then if it drops again we can always cancel and rebuy. how does it work if we cancel and then rebuy? Does the money go back into the payment card or is it credit on the account?
  2. Hi, Sorry in advance if this has been asked before but I can't find anything in a search. My partner and I will be getting the premium drinks package for our cruise in July however I was wondering what sort of offers Celebrity usually have with the packages? Last week they were offering 25% off but that has now reduced to 20% off. Is 25% the best offer that I will see? I know RC usually have offers such as buy on get one half price so I was wondering if Celebrity offer anything similar? Thanks 🙂
  3. Thank you all for the suggestions - we would be going the day before so I’ll have a look at transfers as well as the hotel suggested and look at the roll call. It isn’t a definite yet that we will do the cruise as for some reason there are no direct flights from our closest airport which doesn’t quite make sense but that’s research for another day 😂 at least I know for now that the transferring to port will be easy enough.
  4. Thank you - I'll have a look at booking either a transfer independently or just doing the booking through a TA.
  5. Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, I can't seem to find anything on this though. I am looking at booking the 11 night sailing from Rome to Ravenna in July however I am being put off by the fact that it does not seem that simple to get from Rome airport to the port and then from Ravenna port to Venice airport. Anyone who has done this before, how easy was this to do and what would you advise? Thanks 🙂
  6. There is no limit to how many drinks/coffees you can get as far as I am aware - it is just for alcoholic drinks that there is the minimum time between each one
  7. I called them a few weeks ago and had no problems. The confirmation email was received as soon as the phone was put down. Again, this was booked as part of my cruise package so maybe not helpful in that sense.
  8. Well we may be in luck 😂 we’ll just have to see. Thank you for sharing this
  9. That really doesn’t look that bad at all. That has made me feel better 😅
  10. That’s good to know - well just see what happens and go from there!
  11. From the pictures online they do seem relatively nice. Our only comparison are those that we have seen into on previous cruises with Royal Caribbean and they didn’t seem so appealing!
  12. I can’t remember the cabin number off the top of my head but I know that it is deck 12. From looking at the deck plans it seems an okay deck to be on as it is not directly below anything although please feel free to correct me if that’s wrong!
  13. Hi, yes it is the 13th Jan canaries cruise. we booked it at the end of July so it was not under the current offer that they have. We opted for the coach and for our inside cabin we also get £90 OBC with the select price. As we booked through a travel agent, our balance is due on the 15th of this month however we have already paid it off. I looked at just cancelling and rebooking it and losing the deposit but with the current offer they have on, it is not worth doing. We do not need that much obc. I will take a look again over the next few days and see if the prices move again with the offer ending and I will also give the travel agents another call to see if them honouring the price that the cabins were when we first booked makes any different. Otherwise, we will just make the most of what we have. It may well be perfectly okay but the more I think about being in a cabin with no natural daylight, even if it is only to sleep, the more horrifying it sounds 😅
  14. Ah okay - the thing is, I don’t have exact figures, I just remember that is what it was. The only exact figures I have are for the week before we booked and they are lower than what it was at the time of booking. Will the travel agents have the costs of the time when we booked?
  15. I have contacted the travel agent and unfortunately at the moment it is £1000+ to upgrade to a balcony and £900+ just to upgrade to seaview which just isn't ideal when at the time of booking it was only £200 extra per person for the seaview and £150 for balcony 😞
