  1. We officially booked Firenze for a 5 night cruise Nov 2024 so I enjoyed a look at our ports (Cabo and Ensenada) and Iā€™ll be scouring Venezia reviews for the ship info.
  2. I play "spot the Disney Ship" in cruise reports. With the first picture I deduced it must be the Magic as she has taken over the West Coast cruises while the Wonder is in Australia. Your next picture confirmed it for me!
  3. It might be Canadian? I donā€™t know, I heard it and loved it, so I use it. I also call them Petri dishes, usually when they have carried some bug home and shared it with me! Ah, children!
  4. I am so excited as we are planning either a Paradise, Panorama or Firenze cruise for November. (Yes, I know one of those in in Florida... the plans are fluid and based on union vacation time and flight prices, and my parents ability and want to take my crotch goblins for 5 or 6 days)
  5. We did the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's in Walt Disney World for our wedding dinner (only 10 people there) and it was SO MUCH FOOD! But so, so good! But imagine that much food in a wedding dress with stays and boning so nothing can expand
  6. Disney Cruise Line does this. Fares are lowest at release and increase as percentages of room categories sell. If there are rooms left close to sailing they discount them as guaranteed rates (inside, Oceanview and veranda) after the PIF date.
  7. She's so excited!šŸ˜Ž I'm looking forward to your review as we are looking at booking a Carnival cruise for next year and I have yet to read a review by anyone with kids close to my kids ages.
  8. Thank you! Now Iā€™m wondering about the age demographic of the knittersā€¦ Iā€™m a ā€œyoungā€ knitter (late 30s) but I like knitting and socializing when I can.
  9. I want to ask you to attend activities when I see the daily activities... OOH Knitting go check it out and see if anyone is actually knitting! or Oh that lecture (Sea Turtles!) looks interesting!
  10. We found an awesome local yarn store in Ketchikan that carried locally dyed yarn. Possibly only an interesting stop for other knitters/hookers/yarn artists.
  11. Thatā€™s my ship! Of the 4 cruises Iā€™ve been on 3 have been on the gorgeous Disney Wonder
  12. I like just outside Calgary and Iā€™ve done 2 Alaskan cruisesā€¦ I can see glacial lakes at home but weā€™ve really enjoyed our Alaskan cruises
  13. Really enjoying the live report. I just read your 2022 Alaska report from Carnival. We were on the Disney Wonder to Alaska the week before you were on Carnival (May 16th to 23rd, 2022) and had even warmer weather in Port it was 75+ each day and sunny, the only rain we had was in Vancouver where it was cold and wet. We are Canadians who have snow and temps down to -40F in the lovely cold snaps and still truly enjoyed Alaska and all she has to offer. We've been on 2 AK cruises and enjoyed them both and I would happily return (though I'm hoping for sun and beaches for our next vacation)
  14. @willdra new to CC but really enjoying your reviews. We are considering a Panorama cruise soon(ish) and I will look forward to your trip report. I have snagged the link above to your last Panorama cruise to read in the meantime.
