  1. They answered the question as to why they wanted the information.
  2. Unless there is an unexpected delay in returning to port. It happens and with more and more frequency these days.
  3. I have heard it is pooled and have heard it is not. In reality IDK, thus leave in place and tip add'l, after that, it is out of my hands.
  4. I'm with you, always go for the same wait team, don't have to have the same table, but to be seated in their section is all I ask. They and me, have always been very pleased. I hope you have a great cruise!
  5. They are also fully booked now. So, they don't care. I also beleive this to be very true. They will not care until they finish paying off the shutdown incurred debt. They may test the waters and if a prolonged outcry results, tweak it a bit, but overall, they do not care. Though even after, it will be hard to relinquish the profit they are raking in.
  6. It does not mean that they are available, it means if they do become available, that is what one is bidding and hoping for.
  7. Of course it is, and the premise that it is not is ludicrous.
  8. I've always received a mid-cruise survey, which I always complete and then do so again after the final survey. There really is nothing to "demand" and I don't think there is anything extraordinary about it.
  9. In the Retreat, it is $23/day/pp, which is allocated among quite a few crew members.
  10. Are you asking of the daily rate breakdown from the cruise line or what others do per day?
  11. The decor of each is really the main difference. Menu's very similiar, each has a few specific to it's regional theme, but can be ordered in any of the others.
  12. Exactly. I also suspect that this post is a joke, or a feeble attempt at such.
  13. I think in addition part of the reason folks like to decorate their cabin door, is the same reason many do Xmas decorations outside their homes, to make us smile as we wander around the roads or halls.
  14. Unfortunately many feel the need to take it out on the crew with anything they don't like or can't get. There is an old expression that a bully only picks on someone who can't fight back. I've seen to much of this on cruising.
  15. A friend of mine is currently on the Eclipse, in a Celebrity Suite, posted pics on another site and no loungers on her balcony. Has a dining table and two chairs, and two upright deck chairs that the backs recline slightly.

    Butlers

Note the first entry on the list
  17. And don't forget the Edith Ann/Lily Tomlin rocking chairs.
  18. I like your sense of humor! It's not my thing at all, but it's your cruise and if is something you will enjoy and have fun with, go for it.

    Butlers

Well since the butler unpacking is promoted in Cunard's own promotion videos of what the butler will do, it's a very legitimate question, IMO.
  20. Yes, think Paris, Las Vegas and Paris, France, they both have an Eiffel Tower but there ends the similarity.
  21. I did a 9 nighter on Summit in Dec, though I made it a B2B of a 4 night and 5 night, the 4 night in particular was very much a booze cruise and the casino and the area just outside was rockin well into the night.
