So when you switch your cruise flight from Saturday to Friday to miss a snow event for you flight, and this below on your iPad Wednesday. We are now picking up Owen at school when it gets out a 2:15pm and flying from Detroit at 8:45 tonight. We land in FLL at 11:45 and then off to our hotel in Hollywood. First time we have changed a flight 2 times for a cruise, let alone once.

Taking naps during your RC cruise?
A&L_Ont replied to Toddcan's topic in Royal Caribbean International

This is a suiting post for me today. I got a call this morning from my Aunt in western Canada. My cousin who was diagnosed with cancer in December of 2019 passed away this morning. They game him weeks to live and he lived a full life for until early this year. He passed at home with palliative care leaving behind 2 teenaged boys and his wife.

Four posts for the OP since 2013 is impressive. Thanks for the warning.

All these cars are ones I love but when you mention Opel it hits a bit more. My mom had a 1970s Opel GT in yellow. I found this on Google but this was basically it. As young kids we went all over the place in this car. The back had a wood bench seat and if I remember no seat belts. Times were different back then.

I miss them too. As for Peter, his family and staff - who you see on TV are who they are in real life. You might have seen me on a couple episodes. π They are only 1.5 hours from my door and people send them cars from around the world. Peter was racing one of his original Ford GTs at the Goodwood Festival this past September. That car is staying in Europe for another event this summer. I would have loved to have been there for that. Not sure I could do that with my own cars, but they do have the means to fix them. An hour the other direction from me is RM Restoration, who has won numerous awards at Pebble Beach as well as many other concours. If RM sounds familiar it is because of RM Sotheby's. It was formerly RM Auctions, a classic car auction company headquartered in Blenheim, Ontario. They partnered with Sotheby's in 2015, when they purchased 25% of RM. Other than cold weather, I live in a fairly decent location for automotive excitement. That weather makes it hard to enjoy cars all year though.

I took a quick look through class winners and a friend of mine took home a prize. Their shop has done a some restorations for me, they have bought a few cars from me, and sold me a few cars to me over the years. Always a good time at their place. Great family business that started in a two car garage.

More photos are popping up on my social media sites. Here is a photo of a youth judge that I know, who lives 30 minutes from my home. He was a youth judge with the Hagerty Kids when they judge my Ford GT in 2019. I also let him ride with me during the trophy presentation, after judging was complete. This year I had to help him tie his tie, before judging at our local concours as his dad wasnβt with him. He is a couple months older than Owen and a great kid.
