  1. I just have a simple question pertaining to the booking using the Cheers To You Offer (RU1) rate.

Does this package allow you to get the juice or smoothie drinks available in the dining room at breakfast?

Can you use for ice cream or shakes at the java blue shake spot?

Are there any sugar free energy drinks offered?

Any unusual items available with this package?

Thanks in advance for any information.

  2. You can just go down to guest services once they are posted on the account and they will adjust the amount that you request accordingly. if you want to remove them completely they are just removed from your room charge. We have sailed with some friends who do it as they prefer to actually hand cash because they feel it is more personnel, its their decision.

Question: Do you remember if the comedy club was operating.  It is in a smallish room on the stern and may not be too compatible with COVID restrictions.

We were on this same cruise and yes the comedy clubs were open for 4 shows daily in the Limelight Lounge. PG shows were 6:15 and 7:15 (repeat) and adult shows were 8:30 and 9:45 (repeat). There were also couple times it was dual comedians in the Liquid Lounge. Same 4 comedians throughout the cruise.

  4. Just got off the Vista and the mask are not required everywhere as some may suggest. Just recommended in some areas and enforced in a few places. Walking to from the dining room tables and around the buffet areas was gently reminded if someone walked in without one. However in the comedy and production shows it was maybe only 30% wearing them even though they mentioned a reminder at the beginning to wear them, just wasn't enforced. Walking around interior of ship maybe 50% wearing them. I do think it is hypocritical of them cancelling some events like bean bag toss, etc but it was okay to have the crowded bingo shows and crowded bars without masking up because that was a cash cow for them.

For the people who complain about enforcement, it is still much more masking up than going into a local Walmart or grocery store.

  5. Just a few simple questions.

It appears that I cannot pick my arrival time until I do my on-line check-in, is that correct, or am I overlooking something?

On the Vista, how has the muster drill requirements been being accomplished, do you still have to go to crowded location at a specified time or is it a new procedure?

We haven't cruised out of Galveston in awhile, is there still alternate parking lots within walking distance to check in or is best to just use the cruise port parking lot?

Thanks in advance for any information.

It would help to be more self critical. If you believe it or not, we do get here as well Fox news and more serious print media such as the NY Tmes, but I guess this sort of Media is not one you ever read. If you watch / read all the available media both in the US and other countries and even better see with your own eyes what is happening my conclusion is back to what I wrote the other day. Just to be clear hanging out with Americans is great, you are friendly and easygoing people but please open your eyes a bit and think out of the box.

You are absolutely right, but you are proud about some sort of "dream" that doesn't exist. Instead of living in a ilusion you should all try to find ways to make "America great again" strong slogan but will not happen with all the clowns in charge currently. I do not base myself on CNN or Foxnews as I said before, I hear both sides and I see things myself when in the US. If people want to belive when drinking diet soda it will make them loose weight or will be less unhealthy than regular soda this is agan a illusion which is wrong.

America did great things in the past especially in WWII which is highly respected but America did also things that did not turn out great such as Vietnam or completely failing in the Pacific at Pearl Harbour. But ok life goes on and let's have some hotdogs at Pearl Harbour and buy some souvenirs...I am very sorry this at a historical site of rememberance you will only find in the US and is completely disrespectful, talking about stereotype, especially all the ones that go there and thin it's visiting "Disneyland" without rides, was quite shocked to see this.

You don't know what the world will bring for other suprises over the next years and trust me you do not want to stand there alone, hence even that the US pays the most into the NATO (it's the largest participant nation) you are also benefiting accordingly.

From your many post it is obvious you have a unhealthy hate and disdain form America, please keep it yourself. I do not believe you are anymore qualified to judge Americans than I am to Europeans.

I might not express myself always the most diplomatic but as you know, the truth somethimes hurts and I am touching sensitive topics here, you don't need to comment but give it a though:

That the eating habits in the US are considered as very unhealthy and probably the most unhealthy in the Western World is a fact. If you go into windjammer for instance and you see what people load on their plates the saying "You are what you eat" perfectly applies. Unfortunately the US has many propblems and the food issue is just one of them, maybe also connected in a way to the bad or almost inexistent healthcare system same as for almost inexisitent employer rights. No country is perfect but it is such as shame that this "great" America that might have existed in the past is becoming always more a banana republic. Another examples the guns, how many 1000's of additional civilians need to be killed that the american people and their politicians will implement strong laws against weapons.

there will need to remain a option on board where a relatively large crowd can be fed fast, hence it will still be more effective to have staff serving food to plates than adding another sit down venue. They will just need to limit the amount of guests in the venue and have staff serving them. Also the concept could be adjusted for the salad bar and burgers into a made to order, where you have one counter to order and another one to pick your meal up once your number will be called / shown on the display (ticket system). At the other stations same setup as today you would just have a staff member serving the food onto oyur plate instead of you taking it yourself.

Your arrogance and stereotyping are very rude and condescending. Please bear in mind that there are also stereotypes of Europeans, and just like for Americans some are true and some are not. it appears that you are the type who probably gains their information from news media, which usually has a reason for their slant on it.

When you are bashing Americans please think of the many, many who gave their lives for YOU in WWI and WWII. Also, it the U.S. who pays way more than our fair share into NATO to protect Europe because most European governments do not.
