  1. Of course you can....it's treated just like any other reservation other than it's comped.
  2. Garage Clearance Heights Location Garage A Garage C Garage D Garage G Garage J First Floor 7'2" 9' 8'2'' 9'6'' 8'2'' Second Floor 8' Remaining Floors 7'2" 6'10'' 6'8'' 6'11'' 6'10'' https://www.miamidade.gov/portmiami/parking-information.asp
  3. Rented a car from Celestino Sept of last year....he was great...met me at the port with the car. Filled out the paperwork and he even gives you a preprogrammed cellphone if you need to call him. We also had navigation with preprogramed destinations included with car. I paid for the car upon return in cash when he met us at the port at the predetermined time. All went great and smooth....there is a gas station just a few blocks from the port to refill the gas tank before return....cash only for gas and must be prepaid at cash booth before pumping. We visited a few beaches and all had no issue parking. We just arranged another car rental from him for next month again. Insurance is included with car.
  4. Just off Indy a couple days ago. We used the covered parking garage at the port...very easy and had no issues....felt it was safe. You pay as you enter...parking wasn't cheap....$72.76 for 3 nights. As far as getting to port....528 (Beachline Exp) will take you right there.
  5. Yes....look at Tampa Marriott Water St...JW Marriott Water St...Embassy Suites Downtown Convention Center....Hampton Inn and Home 2 Suites Channelside. The Downtown Tampa Riverwalk area and Channelside area are good places to stay for a night pre-cruise and close to the port.
  6. Absolutely not correct. It's maybe just a few dollars more per day for the convenience of port parking at port everglades.
  7. There is plenty parking at the port.....have parked there dozens of times and never had a problem finding a spot...even with 8 ships in port.
  8. The only places I know of in Tampa that are still requiring face masks are medical facilities and some assisted/senior living facilities.
  9. You have both the Tampa Aquarium as well as the Tampa History Center within a couple blocks of port.
  10. Yes....that is the parking for the terminal. You do not have to pay ahead of time if you don't want....you can pay upon arrival.
  11. https://www.porttb.com/parking Official port parking is a covered garage.
  12. I suggest just using the terminal parking at the port itself.
  13. There is an Amtrak train you may want to check that runs between Orlando and Tampa.
  14. The hotels/resorts by the beach would be your best option. Check with the restaurants like Capital Grille over by the Galleria Mall also as you may find something there. Can tell you from living several years living in FLL....Las Olas is a ghost town on Thanksgiving.
  15. Odyssey of the Seas and Harmony have noticeable differences that may be of some importance. Harmony has water slides if this is important for your kids...Odyssey doesn't . Harmony for me is is my least favorite Oasis class ship having no pool in the adult only solarium. Odyssey has SeaPlex...an indoor kids (and adult) activity area. Odyssey also has a fully enclosed (temperature controlled) adult only solarium with great pool area. Like mentioned above with 3 kids unless in a suite you will need 2 cabins on Odyssey while you can all do a standard cabin on Harmony. While Harmony I wouldn't consider old....Odyssey is newer and fresher....very different atmosphere between the 2 ships...so do some homework to see what is a better fit. There are many other differences between the 2 class ships but I have outlined some that may help in decision making.
  16. I have read that if you go to Guest Services they will watch your luggage while visiting the aquarium. There also is the Tampa History Center located just a block away from the port also. Columbia Cafe at the history center has some excellent Spanish food. Sparkmans Warf is also located right next to the port with many eating options and shops. As far as getting to PIE I would suggest Uber or Lyft.
