  1. Technically, I have put out some bags in front of the cabin the night before too and carried my carry-on off.But I don’t think that’s what the OP was asking.? Yes, I’m sure it can be done ,but most of the time walk off is around 7 AM give or take .How would you ,let’s say -orange colored luggage tag be ready in the luggage room at 7 AM ? When let’s say, for example, your orange colored luggage tag says approximately 9 AM on the disembarkation sheet of paper. Thanks. I’ve walked off with my carry-on bags off the ship only ,not a big large suitcase .unless I’m doing walk off ,which I’ve only done once in that case, I had one carry-on bag, and one large suitcase that I carried off myself and my husband did the same. But that was quite a while ago ,so perhaps things have changed. They specifically said walk off with all your luggage and nothing in front of the cabin. yep, suite guests have different instructions, but since op didn’t say suite guest,I would assume not.
  2. @shanna135 I think if you do walk off, you cannot put any bags out the night before?? Walk off means you walk off with all your bags and I think the reason why is because your luggage that you put out the night before is not ready at that time in the building .that’s why they give everybody a color coded luggage tag and call you off, when let’s say all the orange tags are in the building luggage wise . My experience is no matter what port that you’re in ,when you go find your luggage in the luggage room ,it’s all by the color of your luggage tag. Usually whatever color tag is the last to disembark is not in the luggage room at the same time as the earlier time to disembark. With all that being said -all disembarkation is usually totally done by 10 AM. ( give or take) Usually they ask you to be out of your state room by 8 AM and if I’m understanding your flight is not until 7:45 PM and you’re going to an hotel until almost your flight time. So I think ( my opinion) you have plenty of time to do the normal getting off by luggage tag color code? Unless there’s some special transportation that you have to meet the hotel bus at a certain time.? If you need more information, let us know what port & ship and others may have posted their disembarkation instructions. Sounds like you could be on a ship right now and this may not apply to you as it may be too late??
  3. LIVE from Discovery: Feb 24-Mar 2 by @New2cruise2022 has a link to quite a selection of bar menus. Check out their link. Or look up Supervalue bros. I don’t know how to attach a file or share that live from.
  4. @mpdog42 Lots of menus posted under many Live froms…… I have seen them
  5. @Ed in OKC hope your travels to Dallas with those in your party that needed passports went well and you were able to secure the same day passports.Bon voyage.
  6. Op/ author says they have to drive three hours from I’m assuming Oklahoma City to Dallas. And that’s three hours one way.
  7. @Ed in OKC please report back after check in what really happens at the port. many others have asked very similar questions, and we never hear back … Just the panic that ensues prior to boarding or trying to board. It might be very helpful for somebody going forward. welcome to cruise critic & your 1st post.
  8. Yes. I’m answering for @Steelers36. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, etc. are “Jewel “ Princess ships
  9. Yep, I definitely can check the port schedule, but I have no cruises scheduled to St. Thomas at the moment.. I was just trying to decipher and give a little bit of information to the author/ op that it’s very subjective ,so who knows which way the ships dock. definitely great information for those that want to check the port schedule.
  10. Also, in St. Thomas aren’t there two docks that Princess uses? I seem to remember being at both of them over the years and yes, I’m sure bow in or out is very subjective and changeable.
  11. Well 2 minibar, set ups is great in my opinion. One for the suite & one for Elite status? But wonder why it took them 3 days to get you the 2nd set up. I’m sure @CanadianBurger will let us know when they know. I’m enjoying following along.
  12. Usually,if both are Elite in the cabin, only 1 Elite set up per cabin. Should be if both are Elite in cabin 2 set ups. Definitely earned that perk. But Princess says 1 per cabin. way to go for @CanadianBurger- whatever the reason
  13. I should correct what I said above there is no longer a $35 ( total per cruise)stand alone coffee card/ package.. Although there is a $35 a day/night zero alcohol package that includes coffee. Of course + gratuity/ service charge of 18%.
  14. Sorry I must’ve missed it and by the way I’m enjoying reading along. Thanks for fabulous Live From.
  15. There is no longer the $35. Coffee card.
  16. This is from another poster that is live on the sun this week March 9. Perhaps the platinum and full suite passengers have their hors d’oeuvres located in another venue? So far I just see elite benefits. But maybe they’re just calling it the elite lounge and you may attend if you’re elite, platinum ,or full suite?? Maybe a platinum person/ passenger onboard The Sun will chime in. I would assume the full suites have their own concierge lounge. Someone was just asking where the platinum passengers go for lounge access in the evening.

  18. @Hillmom yes in San Pedro- port of LA. You may bring your own flowers onboard. I’ ve just carried them on and bought a plastic vase at the dollar store. As far as taking them off the ship, I don’t know why you would want to,( after 1 week to 2 week cruise they will be “ gone/dead”) ,but you may not.
  19. @Princess Chatterer here’s a current coffee menu ,maybe not the ship you’re going on, but it should be the same.
  20. I think author/ op is on The Ruby Princess
  21. I followed along on your last Live from… congrats on booking your suite offer.
  22. What are you insinuating or trying to stir up? I gave my opinion and experience, and it looks like most people are giving the same response. The op is looking for answers/opinions and you didn’t even answer them. You responded to mine instead, which is not helpful to the OP at all. Out of all the ports, I’ve left out of San Pedro often, and I also have family members that leave out of there often .amazing how quick to judge people are just because…..
  23. @Gardyloo2 San Pedro- world cruise terminal is fairly easy in my opinion. Did you get your green lane or blue lane boarding pass on web or app? Did you fill everything out yet? Still have to get in line to go through security. If you get to port before previous passengers are cleared, then yes there will be a wait/ line to board.
