  1. Did you go to the hatchery near Pymatuning lake? We wanted to take the grandkids there last summer, but it was closed due to Covid. Will probably take them this summer.
  2. Happy Mother’s Day to all, because I am pretty sure that everyone had one. Now back to cooking for me. Filet mignon and baby back ribs are on the menu today, along with sides, pie and cake. Daughter and her family are due to arrive soon, and we have been blessed with a nice, sunny day.
  3. Thank you. I will need to check those out, because I will need something to book when I am onboard next week. The more I look at that cruise that @Sea DogGreg booked, the better it looks for a fall 23 cruise. Plus, the prices are so low!!
  4. We will still have our California grandson here with us then. Maybe I will have to see when his passport expires. Kids passports are only good for five years. I would like to take him on a cruise, but by the end of the summer, we will be looking for some relaxing, down time with just the two of us.
  5. I wish that was this year. Looking for something for the fall, and that would have been one of my open weeks. I love the Voyager. By the way, anyone have any recommendations for cruises that are not during these weeks? Aug 21-Sept 5 Oct 30- Nov 6 Nov 20- Nov 25
  6. Went out tonight to celebrate Siete de Mayo. My wife could not finish her frozen strawberry margarita, so I had to help her out with this much that she left me. At lest they were a little bigger and better than the ones we got on Cinco de Mayo. Moral - always go Mexican for margaritas.
  7. All this talk of ages, and suddenly I am feeling older today. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ One of our standard tv shows to view when I was growing up, was the Ed Sullivan Show. Much of what I consider the best music of our generation was spotlighted on his show. I wore my hair long in the early 60’s, but with it slicked back. After the Beatles appeared on the Sullivan show, I combed it forward and headed to school. That hairstyle earned me a prompt trip to the Principal’s office. My, how things have changed. Clint Eastwood movies were always big on campus when I was in college. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly was always playing, and some of my fraternity brothers were obsessed with it. In fact, one just sent all of us a five page trivia test on the movie. And, of course, when Dirty Harry came out, it seems we had several 44 magnums appear at our house and several of us would head to the range on weekends with them.
  8. M*A*S*H is one of those shows I watch an episode or two every night. That is, except tonight when we binged the first 4 episodes of the new Bosch series. I was about 7 pages behind today, because we spent it watching our grandkids. Heavy rain here all day long.
  9. Loved the Benny Hill show. When we were in Southampton last time, I wanted to go to the cemetery where he is buried. Maybe next year when we are back.
  10. I have that one, plus many other original posters from the 60’s and 70’s stored in my attic. I may have to go thru them sometime to see if any are worth anything. I remember there being an Easy Rider poster among them.
  11. They are likely dealing with a worker shortage like most places. They ramped up to quickly without having sufficient staff to deal with problems.
  12. Usually, if you answer the questionnaire that way, you will get excused. Was only ever called once, and was excused because I knew the arresting officer and the prosecuting attorney.
