  1. We’re booked on the April 21 Equinox cruise, and we are not cancelling — we want to go on this cruise as the itinerary isn’t being repeated next year (or maybe ever). If Celebrity cancels, we’re taking our money back. I really like the Celebrity product . . . however, Celebrity’s management of their product during this crisis has been very poor. Sadly, I don’t know if I will be cruising with them again.
  2. I wholeheartedly second the recommendation for Woodwind on Bonaire. Best snorkeling excursion I’ve ever done, and I’ve done a lot. You usually need to book asap because they sell out quickly.
  3. Oh dear . . . I was hoping for better coffee in my stateroom! Thanks to all who took the time to reply. Looks like room service will get to know us quite well in the morning! I could take a French press pot, but then I’d have to pack one less pair of shoes, and THAT’S not going to happen! 😉 Allyn
  4. My husband and I are quite excited to be doing our first Cunard cruise next week, a transatlantic from NYC to England on the QM2. I’ve read that there are coffee making facilities in the individual staterooms, but can someone give me a little more information . . . is it a Keurig/pod-type coffee (tea) maker? An electric kettle with instant coffee packs? We both like a good cup of coffee when we first wake up in the morning and it’d be nice to just roll out of bed and brew a cup. I know we could order Room Service, but I hate to make such a fuss for a couple of cups of coffee, especially when I’m not sure when we’ll wake up. Many thanks for any information you can provide! Allyn
  5. I'm surprised you had to "tender" in St. Kitts. Were there other ships in port at the docks? I was in St. Kitts several months ago on the MSC Divinia and we were berthed at the docks. I have a question for you re electrical outlets. Did you need to bring adapters for your electrical equipment? I'll be on the Queen Mary next week (first time on Cunard!) and wasn't sure if I'd need to bring adapters for my U.S. electronics. Thanks!
  6. Looks like a lot of fun! Educational, and delicious!
  7. An Aviation cocktail is a wonderful thing! But Creme de Violette and maraschino liqueur are a must for it to be authentic, in my humble opinion.
  8. Mary Rose? Gin cocktail? Please elaborate . . . it looks so festive and I’m a gin drinker. My husband and I will celebrate the new year on the QMII, and this looks like a perfect start for our voyage.
