Great idea. So Sharon went to get them, handed her card over and the bartender said, your not diamond. 🤔 our cards did not say diamond! So off to the loyalty desk to get the cards fixed. In the meantime our cruise friends got us Daiquiris. Then we got this! I was also able to catch a nice view. BTW, I would of posted some of this earlier but I got locked out of the internet for awhile. 😆 This is reminding me of our Miami saga. After so many things happen you just start to laugh at the next thing.

They said they would call back and update us. After waiting another hour I called for the 3rd time. This time a good representative helped us. The manager from the Galveston warehouse is supposed to be bringing a charger and switching the controller to the left side. We will see. In the mean time we have been stuck in the room over 2 hours. After we cruise away I may forget to say virgin when I get a Peach Daiquiri and a Miami Vice and a....... and a......! I better not miss my 1st day ice cream cone!

Snag 3. Got to the room to find that Scootaround delivered the wrong wheelchair! The tag on the wheelchair agrees with our confirmation but it is not the same one. It is supposed to be a Whills model Ci with a control on the left side. We got a Jazzy with control on the right hand and no charger. We have waited now an hour for a call back. We confirmed a week ago they had the correct model Whills. So aggravating.

Views after boarding. And then dolphins 🐬 showed up. Went to Promenade to get internet/app help.

Haven't had one yet. And as many know I will have to get the ice cream cone soon! We went to the Windjammer, walked around it twice and couldn't find a place to sit so we are eating pizza at Cafe Promenade. Could of been better but I admit I am picky about pizza. This helped.

Things are starting off so smooth today you would think we are ice skating! Our check out was 11 so we had to take an early bus to the ship, 10:15. Our ship check-in was 11:30. We wanted to wait at the terminal rather than the hotel. It was 10:30 When we got off the bus and entered the terminal. Once we entered we were waved over to an elevator. Once we went up the doors opened and we were escorted to accessible check in. They checked our 5 party's papers then a guy took us pass everyone and escorted us to the waiting area. About the time we sat down they said diamond can board. We took our traditional noarding pic. When we boarded our muster station was on the deck near where we walked on! By 10:45 we were watching dolphins 🐬 jumping near the side of the boat. SO THANKFUL. Nice to be on board again!

This is what we do. Why they told us different, I don't know. We will not fall for it on the way back.

We have had a couple of challenges on this trip. We stayed at the Marriott last night before flying out. We had booked the correct hotel but wrong location. We spent an hour on the phone with Chase getting it all corrected. Hard understanding their accents. Sad thing is Marriott did not have a problem correcting it from the beginning. Today we checked my rollator in at the gate like we did last time flying. This time they said when we get to Houston we will have to pick up the rollator at luggage pickup and not the gate. When we arrived in Houston we wanted to make sure we were correctly informed so we asked a stewardess and the guy that loads stuff at the gate and both said we will get it at luggage pick-up. After waiting and hour at luggage pick-up they brought it down to us. It sounded like we could of got it at the gate. I will feel better when we are sailing away tomorrow. Let's hope tomorrow goes smoothly.

I just posted a pic of it. Our Solo cruiser with us beat us here and went there so we went to Katie's on the other side of the Harbour House.

We made it down to the water just in time to catch the sunset. And a pic of Willy G's next to the hotel.

We made it to Galveston and checked into Habor House. We like it. It is at Pier 21. We are about a 5 minute drive from where RC boards. We could see Allure from our room. And a pic of Harbour House this evening.

I don't trust stairs......They are always up to something! 😆

Laurie, you did a great job again! It was nice to see you finally had my favorite drink, Peach Daiquiri! I will be thinking of you when we cruise out of Galveston Monday drinking a Peach Daiquiri again. This will be my first cruise in a wheelchair and it was inspiring and uplifting to see you showing I can still enjoy! Thanks for taking the time to share.

Is it King Arthur 00? I use a 00 specially made to make pizza at 550⁰. It's called Americana. It's blended to brown up at 550⁰. I bought a 25 kilo bag awhile back. I broke it up into 5lb bags. After about 10 bags were done I looked at my counter and it looked like I was part of a drug cartel! I need to try it on noodles. Happy birthday to Micheline.

If it turns as good as my new one I could pull in the elevator and start doing 360⁰s. 😆

Yes! It's a removable cup holder. I am so thankful to get it. A nice item is the chair cushion is an inflatable. You can adjust the cushion by pumping more air in it. I also love how it can tilt back and release the weight on my butt. That will be nice if I am in a situation where I am in it a long time.

I am seeing the rain on the news! Lots of flooding. A person in Brooklyn is sharing a video showing water coming in the door of the bus she was on.

I won't have a choice next week. I have been using the elevators already. I caught covid once after a cruise but I am sure I caught it will riding home for 2 hours with 2 others in the car that had covid. I am not concerned catching it any longer.

One time visiting Mexico City I bought some kind of headache med. After I flew home I noticed it had codeine in it. I wondered what would of happened if they would of checked it at the airport.

I agree. From the beginning of the show I was wanting to see some off. By the end, all of them. What was really aggregating was after 90 minutes of show one ask to go home! This season can only get better.

Now fun magnets is a good idea!
