@ReneeFLL I was checking out the Icon thread the other day. I saw that the show will be The Wizard of Oz! I bet that will be cool. It's going to be fun exploring a new ship.

This brings back some good memories. We have been on Liberty a couple of times. One was a relocation from Cape Liberty to Galveston. I love going under the bridge. Have a fun cruise!

I am glad you mentioned that. Looking at what I will bring, only one item is grounded. I will be plugging it into the AC plug-in.

Thanks. This is one I had not seen for the AC outlet. My concern with larger ones has been pluging them in. On the cruise ship the the AC is upside down. One video shows where a person on a Celebrity ship could not use it because the AC plug was too close to the desk. In the reviews two said they were able to use it on Voyager class ships.

That's nice but I am looking for something that will give me more than one outlet.

I am glad you posted the 3rd item. I have a similar device and forgot about it! I was just looking at it and noticed I had a USB-A to USB-C cord attached to it. The second ones is one that I been considering. I have also been considering the ones that have AC outlets on the sides too.

We will be cruising Voyager soon. I am looking at buying a European Plug Adapter to add more outlets for charging phones and laptop. I have been guessing I need a Type C Adapter, not a Type E or F. Am I guessing correctly? Has anyone had success using one on Voyager? Any suggestions.

I thought I would try to catch some more pics of Jewel before it hit the sea. I fond a webcam in IJmuiden. It took a long time for Jewel to make its way there. I got busy with other stuff and just in time remember. With a little time to go I found another near by. When I first opened the webcam I wasn't sure I was seeing Jewel or not. As the ship came out my hopes grew. Yes! Jewel! It appeared that was all I would get but then the cam moved to down for another minute of viewing. When this cam stopped showing the ship I switched back to the original which is closer to sea. I watch for awhile and the Jewel was not around. As I thought it must not go by this cam it showed up! I am so glad I found the other webcam. With the sun setting the webcam would not focus well. Off to the sea!

Here are some pics of the Jewel departing today. At first it looked like she was going to sail away from the camera. But then she turned around. Once sideways there was no getting around the Jewel. And back she came. And then close to the webcam!

If you go to the Amsterdam webcam you will get a great view right now. The ship is turning around and headed to the camera. Close-up coming soon.

@singinalot That had to be so cool to wake up to those air balloons! I love the pics and videos of them. A friend of mine has an air balloon. It's fun to be able to fly in one rather than just go up and down. For a new cave woman you are doing a great job!

So many times I started to mention lighthouses! 🤣

Brings back great memories. Do they still have the octopus swimming around the aquarium. So many neat things to see here.

@Ocean Boy was that you finding crazy prices for the Oasis 8 day Feb 8,2025. If a midship balcony for a little over $2,600 sounds good you can get it if you don't go through RC. That is after tax and a refundable deposit after a diamond discount.

My SIL told me that on their way to Lakeside they stopped at a place that was serving German Chocolate cake milk shakes! He got one and thought it was good but said he didn't think about it having pieces of coconut in it.

You are always welcome! They say it is a challenge making German Chocolate cake. Sharon on likes it homemade.

I just noticed the Notre Dame football game is being played in Dublin Ireland.

The kids are over celebrating Sharon's birthday 🎂 They made her a homemade German Chocolate cake, her favorite. And they brought her a bouquet 💐 of flowers from the best florist around 😃

Pikes Market is a cool place to visit. It would be a great place to pick up a bouquet 💐 to take on the cruise. Also the Athenian Seafood Restaurant is good. It is where Sleepless in Seattle was filmed. We enjoyed the Aquarium. Lots to see. Have you considered Chihuly Garden and Glass. It is a beautiful museum showing the glass artwork of Dale Chihuly. If you have never tried it I believe you would love it.
