😆 We found a spot in the Solarium where the internet was working well. After my first post a crew member told us they were having a private party and we needed to leave. We moved outside of the Solarium and I couldn't get connected. We just got back to the room and found a letter that we were invited to the private party! 😆

There were several stops along the way. Here we saw Rainbow Eucalyptus trees. I don't know where we were at each stop but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the view. Flowing water through the mountains will get better but until you know, take pics.

It was good on the way there. As the day goes on I have a harder time so about the 8th hour I turned sideways in my seat and laid back in Sharon's lap and she held me in the seat. We made another stop. Then bus driver advised me to not go down the step walkway. I didn't...... for a few minutes and then thought, I got to get some good pics for my CC friends! Off I went. It was the wisest move. Although it was a steep walk back, it renewed my energy and I was good the rest of the way back. After my last post I lost internet AGAIN! I have much more to post of the trip. It may take awhile but I will keep trying.

May 3, Road to Hana. This is the map outlining the trip. It was long. We started around 8am and ended at 7pm. Even though it is a one and done for us, it was well worth it. As we started I was enjoying the nice view. Little did I know that the first views were nothing compared to what will come later. Early on we were able to check one off of our bucket list.... stop at a grocery store on the way to Hana! 😆 we had several restroom stops time perfectly. I roads quickly turned curvy and narrow. Much more than these pics.

@ReneeFLL I took your advice, Don't ever give up. The first day I got a Peach Daiquiri and it was not good. It taste very bland with a touch of lime. I tried it again at the pool bar, bad. Sharon noticed they were pouring the mix out of a plastic bottle. I thought no more until yesterday at the DL. @brillohead Debbie had sent me a pic of the Sunsational Peach mix. 🍑 I asked if they are using the good mix. They just started back using it! We enjoyed some snacks while we were there.

Have a safe and happy trip. It's always nice to get out for awhile.

Once we get to Vancouver, Ovation will be doing Alaska until probably around October when it will cruise back to Hawaii on it's way back to Australia. I don't know if it's sold out for the Alaska cruises.

We get to Vancouver Thursday. The location effects the wifi too. I think this is the 1st time ever reading this in the Compass.

Almost like a rock song. She likes dancing to Boom Boom pow. She will sing.... Them chicks jackin style!. Lol I have to limit playing it for her once a day.

It is the ship wifi that is effecting me playing it. I tried and it didn't play until several minutes later and I had already opened a new tab and looking at a different webpage.

I hope you feel better soon Debbie. I hate being congested. Maybe this will help you feel better.... If it works. I converted a .mov to mp4 using iMovie on the Mac. Kenzie Garden.mp4 I can see it but can't play it. not sure if its ship wifi or what. can you play it?

I am enjoying sea days. We have been able to catch up on our sleep. Since we left our house we have needed to get up early for something each day. And with the time difference it has been a challenge. Kenzie is super busy. She has the flower business to keep up with too.

I don't get it, how to people fall so often...... 🤔 So far I have lucked out. So far there has been someone catching me or the ship rocks the other way and I am up. All three girls texting with Sharon has asked.... has dad fallen yet? 😆 You can tell we are a day closer to Vancouver. Low 60's. Normally I would not be out in shorts with it that cool. Today I have enjoyed it. The sun pops out for awhile and warms my feet. View from the balcony.

We stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Hawaiin Village. We just just passed through Hale Koa walking back to the hotel. We are on Ovation right now.

I guess I have been obsessed with the trees in Hawaii. The following I would of thought were good size trees if I didn't see the huge one in Maui. The one in Maui took up a whole city block.

We visited Kona yesterday. All had to be back on board by 3pm so we just walked the port. I liked the look of this tree of flowers.

We were at seaside yesterday. We met Ian and Kim Sturgis from North England. We had a great time visiting with them. Kim took the time to record why she loves a 2pm teatime for my granddaughter who enjoys teatime with Sharon. She was telling us it would be fine to walk the edge, only be careful on the slippery rock. Then she noticed I needed a rollator. She said, Bless your heart ❤️. Her blessing was a sweet one. She was not hitting me with our southern, Bless your heart. They were great people and made me think of you and your wife.
