  1. we have used them and had a good experience. They were there waiting when we stepped off the ship. They have multiple shuttles running so they can have one coming in as one fills up. Parking area is in a fenced in area with nice paved parking. ****be sure you used the discount code at the top of their website for the best price***
  2. Get a day room at the Hyatt right there in the airport. You can relax and freshen up before your flight…
  3. It would greatly depend on which terminal you are returning to….
  4. in addition to Grills and Fishlips we also love Kelsey’s. They have great pizza and salads but also some of the best Italian!! It is just down the street from Homewood Suites…..next door to the Radisson and in the same complex as Preacher Bar (also one of our favorites)
  5. when we go to Cozumel we love Nachi Cocom. All inclusive for eats and drinks. They only take 130 people so quiet and peaceful….
  6. We get our quotes and purchase our policies through Insure My Trip. You have to look at the policy to see which ones are primary as most are secondary. When it asks for trip cost I put in zero and still have coverage for the other stuff. I have used Travel Safe, Travel Guard, and Travel Insured. www.insuremytrip.com
  7. We looked into the yearly policy but decided to pass. I prefer a policy that serves as primary and not secondary. I also want a large medical and medical evacuation amount. Because we are older the price of trip insurance has gotten pretty high, so we do not insure the cost of the trip itself because we feel we can absorb that if something happened and we could not travel. We are more concerned with the medical and medical evac. Last two cruises using the above method we got $500,000 of medical and $1,000,000 of medical evacuation under a policy that serves as primary for a total of $127 for both of us….
  8. Our favorites because they are within a mile to the port are: *Hampton Inn Cruise Port/Home2Suites *Homewood Suites *Towneplace Suites *Springhill Suites *Residence Inn *Country Inn & Suites
  9. The menus show up in the app about a week before sailing. At least this has been our experience
  10. please do not try to go to your cabin to drop off luggage as another poster suggested!! The doors are closed until the rooms are ready around 1:30-2:00 for a reason!! They probably wouldn’t tell you no because they don’t want to make a passenger mad but if several thousand passengers tried to “just drop off luggage” they would never get finished with their tasks!! Please just follow the rules and don’t go to your room until the announcement is made they are open and ready….
  11. I can find mine by opening the app and then swiping to the left.
  12. Time selected is Check in time…..not boarding time
  13. On our last three cruises out of Canaveral….(the most recent a week ago)…...the only priority boarding is for Suites, Pinnacles, and The Key. All others (including D and D+) are seated with all others in sections according to your selected check in time. On a positive note boarding is quick and efficient so not a big deal for us…😎😎
  14. Never had to take a test to go to Labadee…..during the restart had to test to board but not for any port in the Caribbean
  15. And be sure to check your account BEFORE leaving the ship as sometimes you may not get credit for towels you have returned and they have charged your account $25 per towel!! Much easier to get this taken care of while onboard!!
  16. Also check….. Cortrans Shuttle Cocoa Beach Shuttle Cruise Control Transportation GoPort
  17. I leave all my dress clothes on hangers and cover them with a plastic dry cleaner bag. I fold them once in half and pack them in the top of my suitcase. Unpack….hang them in the closet….absolutely no wrinkles
  18. Go onto the app….click the little people icon at the top. Just below the cruise listed there will be a Link to select another cruise
  19. On one of our cruises we had a pretty active FB page that people posted to daily, even during the cruise. A parent of a special needs six year old posted that her son had looked for several days but hadn’t found one and was so sad. A lady on our board who was hiding ducks asked for their cabin number and went immediately and “hid” a few right outside their cabin door. The mother posted a picture of her son finding them and the joy on his face would bring tears to your eyes. So those of you who like to trash them……please just leave them for someone else to find. You could be destroying someone else’s joy.
  20. We never EVER try to go to the WJ on boarding day because it’s always a zoo!! We grab a quick bite somewhere else….
  21. If your early seating is 5pm then that is the time you are expected to be there. On our cruise in January when we sailed on the Jewel the dining room opened at 5:15…..dinner started at 5:30…..and the doors were closed at 5:45…. On My Time I would definitely reserve my time ahead of time…otherwise you will be standing in a long line every single night…
  22. Just a honest question…..where was she planning on using these?
  23. I do agree they technically have enough spaces but for the late comers some have to park very far away in an outer lot. For people who have difficulty walking that can be quite a trek…..
  24. Terminal 1 has a big problem with parking!! With the Wonder leaving the day before parking spaces are probably going to be hard to get. If you do not get there VERY early as people are leaving from the cruise coming in you will have a hard time finding a spot. My advice is to get there EARLY and see if you can grab a spot. Even if you have a later check in time, it is better to get a parking spot and either wait in the car OR walk over to Grills for some food and drinks.
  25. We always buy trip insurance but never, ever from the cruise line. You can get much better coverage for less money through a third party!!! Here is where we get our quotes and purchase our policy…. www.insuremytrip.com
