  1. You know what’s more fun than Sail-Aways? Being aboard a BHB.
  2. @JazzyV We are well aware on how fortunate and Blessed we are. Indeed we are living the good life.
  3. Katherine is Concierge. Gedi was host at Pinnacle and I’ll have to recheck PG Manager. Espresso coffee.
  4. Only one we were able to book prior on-line was the David Burke. Will let you know.
  5. Just a mid day report. A wonderful breakfast in the Pinnacle but was surprised that the French Press Coffee had been discontinued. We attended a 4&5 Star reception in Billboard this morning. Area seems crowded with expansion of Casino but maybe it’s just me. Read on our Verhanda, then up to Lido where I had a very tasty egg salad sandwich. The Lido seemed very busy and I asked an officer how many guest were on-board. Currently 1,800 but he stated we would be picking up quite a few passenger’s in San Diego. Currently off the coast of Cuba and headed for the Bahama Straits and main shipping channels with our average speed of 20 knots. Shortly we will be attending a complimentary wine tasting. Tonight is Dressy Night and we will dine in MDR. Sue has booked every specialty venue plus David Burke’s, Canelleto Chef’s Table and a Pinnacle Grill Chef’s Table. There is no Pop Up Sal De Mer. So who knows when we will get back to MDR? So that’s what is happening on the BHB. Captain Bruce——dreaming again!🛳
  6. Currently on MS Eurodam and they are not utilizing Star Link satellite systems yet. Most likely will but Officer did not have a date. Current WiFi useable for reading mail, sending text and internet browsing.
  7. Ahoy! Just waking up and will be heading to Neptune for morning coffee. Boarding yesterday was super fast and efficient. Attended Neptune Lounge reception then headed to Pinnacle Bar for pre dinner libations. We had a table for two at late fixed dining. Service was prompt and food was served warm and tasty. I chose the rustic lasagna that has been debated so much on CC. Huge serving and I thought it was very good. Our servers from Indonesia were honoring Ramadan by fasting. Seems to be quite a few folks who are from Vancouver, Seattle and San Diego which will make for easy travel disembarkations. Just peaked out the window too a beautiful sunrise and a Carnival ship that is sailing parallel to us. Demographics onboard we’re old but feeling young. Definitely a mature group of Mariners and sense that some are new to cruising. Will test out WiFi and see if pics will send. Have a great week everyone and thanks for the Reports. Bruce
  8. Not eco friendly and have never witnessed since first Hal cruise in 2007. Only have seen on old AMC films from years ago.
  9. Creeping backwards here on deck 7 about 7 cabins behind Pinnacle Penthouse.
  10. I’m having a hard time keeping my champagne glass full!😊
  11. @Cruising-along it’s just me and Sue this cruise. Getting ready to sail in the rain. No matter how many times it’s always exciting. So far it appears Eurodam has not converted to Star Link satellites for it’s WiFi. Have a great week everyone.
  12. Just received weather alert as lightning is within ten miles of Eurodam.
  13. IMO we have one of the best Hotel Directors around; Mark Pells and it was good to see he’s aboard. We haven’t been on the Eurodam since 2016 but have sailed many nautical miles on her The old gals footer just worked pretty good.
  14. With a 70% chance of rain at 3.00 PM. It could be a damp Sail-Away. Super fast and efficient embarkation on Eurodam today.
  15. Good morning and Happy Easter. Kind of ironic on today’s port of call as we will be visiting there on this cruise. We had an enjoyable dinner at the Boatyard Restaurant and we were in bed at 8:00 PM. Will be joining on-line worship services this morning and the hotels shuttle is taking us to the ship at 11:00 AM. So I need to get ready for breakfast. Here’s wishing you a wonderful day. Haven’t really made any plans for Sail Away as weather forecast is calling for some rain. We are on deck 7 port side a couple of doors from Neptune Lounge. a
  16. @tupper10Happy to hear your surgery was successful and hoping you have a speedy recovery.
  17. Made it to Fort Lauderdale along with luggage. I guess we have stayed at Renaissance enough times as several staff recognized us from previous visits. Me thinking a nap before dinner at Boatyard. Zzzzzzzzz!
