  1. I too am looking for any Joy dailies that anyone can post.
  2. Thanks but that list won't include the Cavern club, which is my main concern. I hope to have the theatre shows booked before boarding and don't care about the comedy shows which I know are the ones people line up to reserve. I must say the apps I have used on other lines have the whole week laid out so you can plan better. Ironic because, imho, NCL has. more entertainment to plan for. at least until the teardown begins!
  3. I want to reserve our one FAS specialty restaurant so it doesn't conflict with desired entertainment. When we board does the app have the entertainment schedule for the whole cruise or just day by day? I am talking about the Joy if that is relevant.
  4. That worked! Thanks a lot! By the way, I checked the messages and there was nothing there. NCL should really include a link on MyNcl.
  5. I need to revive this topic. I have just been upgraded because of a price drop so I need to cancel my upgrade bid. However, I can't locate the original upgrade email and can find no reference to it on my account. I need to do this fast because I fear once they put the bid through I will have a big problem trying to undo it.
  6. In Halifax you can get one not far from the ship in the outside food court along the Harbourwalk. Also, good fish and chips and Cows ice cream for dessert. Some places close after Labour Day.
  7. Thank you. Great info I have read that one needs to get to the Cavern Club an hour in advance to get a seat. Any advice based on your experience?
  8. Do you remember how many performances of Footloose and Elements there were? And the Beatles? Did they have a Beatles show in the theatre as well? Any other bands in the Cavern Club? Thanks
  9. To clafify my question, I am not talkinh about specific staterooms. I am referring to classes of cabins, eg, balcony, large balcony or club balcony.,
  10. I don't want one, just a shower. So what staterooms should I avoid?
  11. Thanks. I was reading the Uber App incorrectly and thought it was over $30. Now I see my mistake. Where is the closest spot I should order the Uber from. I think I read someone mentioned the Design Building?
  12. Is there a cheaper alternative than an Uber which doesn't involve transferring from bus to red line to whatever? In other words I want reasonable price without spending hours studying the Boston underground. One bus or subway line would work but not interested in becoming the man who never returned as the old song phrased it.
  13. I was on this cruise. The captain announced that there were 2 COVID cases and changed the buffet to non-self-serve. No announcements about norovirus.
  14. What shows were fully booked? Footloose? When did you first try to book?, i was hoping that I could get reservations after the "upper class" have made their bookings.
  15. If there are 2 people in the cabin, and only one wants to do an excursion, would they get the $50 credit against their fare? Seems like a no brainer but I never like to assume with cruise policy, especially since the online booking automatically assumes both
  16. Are there video poker machines or just slots?
  17. Our Summit cruise goes from Bermuda to Charleston back to Bayonne. Do we go thru Customs in Charleston or Bayonne? Or both?
  18. So where do you join the line on the Summit? I remember something about Deck 4?
  19. We will be self-disembarking from the Summit. Do we need to vacate our room before being cleared to leave? I would like to go for breakfast, return to cabin and leave from there when we are allowed, In other words, avoid dragging the luggage all over the ship. We will be on 3rd deck.
  20. When you go to lunch or dinner at the Cosmopolitan on the Summit, do you have to wait to be seated or is it more of a general admission style?
  21. As per the NCL website, Footloose is cancelled the cruise of June 11th and Elements is cancelled the cruise of June 18th. Does anyone know why this is happening and more importantly if it foreshadows what it may mean for the post-June entertainment. I am booked for September and would cancel if I knew these shows would not be included.
  22. The price for the room is the exact same whether or not you check off "free at sea". All you are saving is the total cost of the drink package. Do a simulated booking and you will see. Anyway, this is off topic.Scott, the question was can I take a bucket of 6 beers back to my cabin to put in the mini-fridge. On some ships the bartender is required to take the caps off of all of them which prevents doing that. Nobody is going to store open bottles in fridge obviously.
