I have asked and they will not tell me if this is going to happen ever again, and if it will affect any other ships
quasar, Celebrity Central, meeting rooms, Tuscan,
Yes it is
I was happy to be offered a Gran Marnier soufflé last night as an off-menu dessert. There was also an off-menu main course of Norwegian salmon
Earlier in the cruise there were other off-menu specials, One night, butter chicken, one night liver and onions.
It’s nice to see some unexpected extra choices, especially when you cruise back to back as I often do
On silhouette, Park west is using the sky lounge on every seaday, closing it to other customers until at least 3 and sometimes 9 p.m.
sky lounge is open to all on port days.
I have no information on why people would buy art on a cruise ship.
Actually, here on silhouette, the meeting rooms are used for storing the artwork on the days where there isn’t an auction. And they are also using Celebrity Central sometimes did so tonight because the lounge was being used for the senior officers party.
I have just confirmed that here on silhouette Park West has five consecutive specials buyer cruises. This is number two and there are three more to come.
The regular art options are still continuing, the invitation-only special event has brought on high-dollar art and I don’t know of anyone who’s been able to get into see it who wasn’t specifically invited by Park West..
I am guessing that if you haven’t spent enough money with Parkwest to receive an invitation and the comped cruise, there isn’t anything you can do once you are on board to gain entry.
They have been having the senior officers party and the Captains Club welcome there and the Mixology. But as for a nice quiet spot during the day, only on port days. Otherwise, on sea days, they have the access limited to the invited guests.
He can definitely go to the morning event with you and order a latte or cappuccino. I believe he will be allowed to order nonalcoholic drinks with you during the 5 to 7 PM happy hour.
I am currently on silhouette back to back and we have the same situation. Park West has paid a lot of money for exclusive use of the Sky Lounge for their high purchasing special invited guests on both cruises. They will be doing this for five straight cruises. Every day they have the sky lounge closed, some days until three, some days until 9 PM. Last cruise we had five sea days out of twelve, and this cruise we have four out of twelve.
You are under no obligation to buy something you consider a joke, and as for water, the tap water is potable so do as many do and bring your own refillable water bottle.
On reflection, it will be in Tuscan Grill. There is no charge for the mimosas at the Captains club Elite coffee breakfast, where you will find pastries, salmon, and meat and cheese, fruit, smoothies, cappuccinos, bloody Mary, but no hot food
