You usually get the port charge back on your account. At least pre-pandemic. We had to stay overnight in NY before our Princess ship could depart due to weather - we had a NY port charge added.

Yes, please do check back! Good luck - hope you make it! We're from Long Island - leaving on the Pearl from Boston - we're still leaving a day early (driving of course) and staying in a hotel in RI (hotels in Boston area are $$$)

Our TA was inquiring about this - as she really didn't know either. (I have heard you can get additional perks from your TA - true or gossip 🤷‍♀️) However, we stopped her because we were afraid to lose our casino perks. While we have the drink pkg - it does not include water which the casino does. Additionally, in most cases you get early boarding (after handicap & Haven) - if you are Platinum or above it doesn't make a difference.
