Just off the Enchanted Princess and the smoke in the casino was overwhelming! Even though there was supposedly a non-smoking area (all open) casino crew was not enforcing. Additionally, there were passengers there just to smoke!!! Princess did away with non-smoking nights - they should just do away with SMOKING in the casino permanently like other cruiselines.

@Lovincruisin1321 Like many have said, it's a personal choice to have hip replacement BUT: I was totally bone on bone with osteoarthritis - so debilitating my muscles were atrophied in that leg - this at a very young age of 50+ (2008) I have never regreted having it done - rehabbed at home and back to work within 6 weeks. The BEST part - I was pain free and still am !!!!! Definitely use all the mobility help if you decide to "work through" this - lots of good posts - Enjoy your trip! Jane

I'm with you on both items - no Kale in my Caesar 😕 and totally miss the Alfredo - that was my "go-to" when all else fails. It seems to be fleet wide - sad!

When we were on the Island in the Mediterranean we had many private tours. We met at the casino. I would just pick a less congested area & walk off together.

@Woofa Thank you so much for your detailed experience. While we are seasoned cruisers we have not cruised with Oceania - yet! Looking forward to our trip this September on the Riviera.

An easy fix is to take the belt from your robe and tie them all together

We only had 920 (or so I was told) passengers on that cruise. Most were still trying out their "sea legs" for the first time since the pandemic break. It was still a great cruise!!

@k9hndler Thank you for your review/observations. We'll be on the Enchanted Princess in a few weeks. Taking the Alfredo off the daily menu is "just not right"!!!!! That was always my go-to on the menu. From the menus that have been posted, choices are less than stellar. JMO

In NY they just tax us! 🤦‍♀️

@tawlaw1526 Thanks, we'll be on Enchanted in February and plan to park at port. It's common to return to a different pier/parking area.

@Robjame I do believe those on CC are more tolerant and informative than the other venues. Oceania forums are ok but others, not so much! Not happy that since the pandemic the roll calls are not what they used to be. When we cruised the Mediterranean with Princess - very active roll call - lots of tour sharing - same with X that got canceled. We still vacation with 3 couples from the Med. 😉 This is our first time cruising Oceania (Riviera Sept 2023) - very slow roll call. Received very good information with how O Life works, ship and excursion/activities (from CC) and my TA (yes she included all the info I needed). I found the key is to read, read, read and to search - many do not. As I go along I take notes that I keep on an online trip planner.

We rented a car for 2 days - circumnavigated the island - wonderful trip. Not difficult, traffic was the same as any big city at rush hour. We also rented in Maui and Kauai. You won't be disappointed.

@mumcat I have no experience with Oceania - 2023 will be our first cruise with O However, on my trip (Baltics) there is an excursion from airport to ship via Stonehenge - so I would think they might have something in reverse You might want to check with your TA or O directly.

Our experience: My DH passport expired 9/2023 We cruised 10/2022 and will be cruising 2/2023 and again Sept 2023 Since we spend the winter NOT at our legal address - we renewed it early (very early!) We renewed it 10/13/22 - expedited - arrived in the mail 11/5/22 If you want to travel you really need to stay on top of everything, especially passports and IDs

The Caribbean is easy peasy for bringing on wine. Has anyone had experience with bring wine on in the Baltics? (Riviera Sept 2023) ??? I don't think most of the ports are known for wine 🍷 We're certainly not going to bring from NY 😧

Thank you, I misunderstood, I thought only 1 restaurant reservation, not 1 for each specialty. 🤦‍♀️ I'm learning !! (not only from CC but also the O website) And my eyes are going blurry from reading, reading (hahaha)
