We’ve never had this feature and it hasn’t been on automatically. When we travel with our daughter and grandson, DH links the 3 of them but not me. I want some peace and quiet…😁.

Agreed. On our first Princess cruise with MUTS, during the day the screen was silent and headphones were handed out to those who wished to listen. I wonder why it changed?

Hi we went on our first Saga cruise (Canaries) last year. We are early 70s. There were a lot of people older than us but many more were younger. We met a lot of solo travellers onboard who, without exception, said they were having a great time. There was a solo gathering early every evening which was well attended. By the end of the cruise I had decided that I would definitely cruise as a solo with Saga if I found myself in that situation as I know I would meet nice people of all ages, be well looked after by the staff, and, importantly, I would feel safe. i’m sure you’ll have a great time in Norway. Please report back after your cruise.

I’m sure I recently read on the Princess forum that Captain Tuvo has moved to MSC.

In July club dining was the starboard side of the Coral dining room.

There are 12 cruises for Nov 2024 on the UK website.

Yes, they are. We’ve cruised 3 times with our daughter and grandson and they have always been welcomed in with us. Our grandson likes to take a small board game for us to play and there is always room for us to sit round a bigger table. In fact it’s one of the highlights of our grandson’s cruising experience! Enjoy.

Hi DeepFreeze - following along with interest as we’re on this trip in Nov 2023. We were wondering if you have any local currency for the African ports or will you be using US dollars? Disappointing about Dakar but hope you make the rest of the African countries. Thanks for the updates.

We weren’t concerned about being seen from the Skywalk but more concerned about the balcony being shaded by the overhang.

We spent 3 days at a B & B in Fairbanks prior to staying at the Princess Fairbanks for the included 1 night. We checked in and were given our room key, however our package had been sent to the airport despite the fact we had told Princess we would not be arriving by air that day. We then spent an hour at reception whilst they tried to tell us that we hadn’t paid for the land tour 😡. Not a great start.

You could well be correct that it did come from the IC!

The tea and coffee we had in the morning was from the room service menu for which there was no charge. The afternoon tea was just a ‘regular’ cup of tea ordered via the TV which was also free. The room service button on our phone didn’t work 🙄.

On Caribbean Princess we ordered tea and coffee for the morning from the room service menu and got pots, plus sugar and milk. One afternoon we ordered tea via the TV and got 2 take-away cups 😳.

We were given a vaccination card for all of our vaccinations at the vaccination centres. We then downloaded the NHS documents complete with QR codes.

Yes, they do I should have been clearer that I was referring to Coral Princess.

On the deck plans on the Princess website, only the M1 mini-suites are Club class which means the other mini-suites cannot use the Club dining room. I don’t know where the M6 category is as the cabins are shown as M1 then MB, MD etc,

I’m sure it was from 5 to 7 on our last three cruises (including Sky).

On our recent trip on Caribbean Princess there were shorts worn every evening by adults (including formal night) - certainly the ones in club dining were not turned away.
