Of course non vegetarians choose the veggie options, just as a surprising number of so called vegetarians seem to think fish is a vegetable. But, and this is completely subjective, I really don’t think anywhere near 40% of the people around me at dinner choose the veggie dishes.
He would be willing to alternate I’m sure, but his hearing is so much improved if he has an all behind him that he would be very miserable the other way round - and I would be very miserable.
That is such good news. There has been so much negativity, I actually asked my husband this morning if he wanted to cancel, though it wasn’t the only reason. But no, I am in the middle of packing.
It is a fascinating phenomenon. Do you remember how long it seemed to half term - or even Friday - when you were at primary school? And six week summer holidays seemed infinite, whereas, when I was a teacher, eight week summer holidays rushed by in a blink.
If you walk at jogging speed, the you go round with the joggers. The gait is of limited relevance. If you were to hop fast, you would go that way too. 😀
I so agree. I always think the only reason for covering stuff with batter or breadcrumbs is to hide deficiencies of quality or quantity, probably both. I don’t like fish and chips.
Most gents wear black tie only on formal nights, whether themed or not. For women there is much more variety, and I have seen quite a lot of long dresses on informal nights. Indeed, I may even have worn one myself.
