Hi Louise We were in this same situation in April of this year. I can tell you that my husband was not ready to travel until 6 weeks after radiation treatment. He was tired (among other side effects) all the time and he was so thankful we postponed our trip by 8 weeks time!

Has anyone debarked in Ashdod and not carried on to last stop of Haifa? Logistics of our private tours would line up much better if we were able to finish out cruise in Ashdod rather than Haifa. Is this possible with NCL?

If our cruise ends on a Wednesday in Haifa and we have the 2 day deviated fare, does this mean we do not fly back until the Saturday or is it 2 days including debarkation day (Friday) ? Thanks!

We actually took a taxi down to Jolly Beach with a group of people from the ship and decided it was not worth the extra cost. It was a beautiful beach with gorgeous water which we enjoyed and just paid $20 for the 2 chairs and umbrella. There was a restaurant and bathrooms on site but the restaurant did not seem to clean so we went back to the ship after 3.5 hours. lol

Our excursion ended up canceling the day before embarkation. We just took UBER to our hotel in Ft.Lauderdale and spent the day at the pool! It was an awesome day too!

Your teen will be very bored on this cruise. Majority of live music put us to sleep. Not enough activities either. We just finished a 10 day on her and there was probably 15 kids under 8 and maybe 5 teens on board from what we saw. Definitely not a kids atmosphere.

The US Gov't extended the requirement now until May 10th, 2023. Still need Vaccine to travel to US.

Does anyone have experience with this? Will be flying from Alberta to Athens, just wondering what your experience was with this. We will also be applying the deviation on each end (ending in Haifa). Thanks!

Has anyone done this tour of Miami where they pick you up a the Fort Lauderdale Port, take you to Hop on Hop off in Miami and then return to Fort Lauderdale Airport? Just wondering how easy this is to maneuver? We are actually overnighting in Fort Lauderdale before flying back home the following day but wanted to see more of Miami on debarkation day. I suppose then we will taxi from FLL to our Fort L. hotel.
