  1. Just got off the solstice. No drink package. So we brought 2 bottles each in our carry on while getting on the ship. No questions. Then we got 2 bottles of complimentary wines and a bottle of champagne from Aqua. So as it turns out we got too much to drink and have to donate a bottle.
  2. To update everyone, this was a resident rate of MANY residents, including Ontario, Quebec, Florida (us and our friends) as well as many other states that he was listing out. Thanks all for the replies.
  3. It does say resident rate. But doesnt tell me resident of what. Probably Canada ? Also since this is a group booking, I would think the price is already reduced and why would they allow resident rate to be thrown in? TA is American and I'm pretty sure anyone regardless of where they live could get this already fixed group reduced rate. Don't have celebrity invoice when booked with TA. (Or at least we never any in the past, and Including this cruise )
  4. Anyway, thanks for all the answers. I will update this post tomorrow once I hear back from them. I emailed them already and I will call them tomorrow to follow up
  5. I guess we'll have to call the TA tomorrow and find out more information about this
  6. Canadian citizen here and When we book it from the travel agent, the the popular one that begins with c, we were not informed of any restriction except it was a group booking. Worry that we might be charged more while at the ship. Non military nor retired anything.
  7. I got my cruise booklet this morning. We had a big blue circle on the top right saying - You are booked on a restricted price program. Qualifying identification is required for booking. Refer to the travel documents page for details. It says we need to be a resident of <blank> on the details page. We booked this cruise with a big TA which starts with C. Wasn't told about any resident requirements. Both our reservation and our friends has this blue circle. Anyone know what's going on ?
  8. On the first night you line up.. talk to the matr d and she sends or assign you a table. Following night it all depends, do you have an assigned table for the rest of the cruise? Normally we still stay in line especially when the restaurant just opened. Lines move fast after the first night. If you arrive later, line is short anyway, ..we always line up unless there's a separate line, sometimes they do
  9. I was refering to the accrued casino comp.that.yoy ask the host towards the end of the cruise to see if they can offset any spending onboard. As mention by Georgia peaches It's something else. On Celebrity you earn onboard comps that must be used by the end of the cruise. There's no way of knowing how much you've earned unless you speak to the casino host on the LAST day of your cruise. They will tell you how much accrued comps you have earned which can be used to offset onboard charges from the spa, specialty restaurants, bar bill (not gratuities),excursions, gift shop purchases. The reason we wait until we know what the amount is before buying anything is we want the lowest bill possible, so we wait until we know what amount we can spend. Of course if I want to go to the spa for a treatment or we do want to go to a specialty restaurant we'll just put it on our account and let the casino host offset it
  10. I learned too! Although, if I only play about 300 say 7 out of 11 nights, black jack, win or lose some, would I be wasting my time asking for the host to do this? Do they have a name tag that says host, usually how many on each ship? Thanks
  11. Our flights is around 1145am. I guess my questions would be do we need to make reservations for these buses, how do we identify them (big or small buses), are there signs pointed to it, how often do they run,..so they have the same service going to the cruise port? Is there a company name .. sorry just listing them as I think of the questions..lol
  12. Can you please tell me more about this shuttle for port of Tampa?
  13. Happy hour 5-7. It's unlimited right? Do they just swipe your card?
  14. Ok so we are referring to the newer ships and not the solstice class right ?
  15. Great idea. Hopefully rhesale is still on next week. Won't be home in a other 7 days .thanks
  16. Just the wording. I'll give tried clicking it and I've to schedule a time for them to call back. Can't do it now, not home till next week.
  17. Access to bow of the ship..can you elaborate?
  18. Thanks, for me, I prefer water than anything, so as long as I have water I'm good. I remember years ago when I started drinking water from the cafeteria etc, my poop turned green and I was constipated. So I stick to bottle water. I can also bring a case of water during embarkation correct? And 2 bottle of wine per cabin ..has the rules changed ? Been so long , have been booking with the package, I tend to forget what the rules are or they may have changed. Thanks
  19. Recieved the 10% off cruise fair + Drinks, wifi and tips All included offer Does this mean we pay for the cruise only fare with a 10% off and we get the free drinks, wifi and tips package?
  20. BCC cruise as well on Aqua coming up April. We are elite plus and to my understanding free alcoholic drinks given 5-7pm at bars. Can we ask for bottle water during those times ? Thanks.
  21. Can you get bottle water during 5-7 at the bars if I'm elite plus but no drink package ?
  22. Does anyone have the room service menu for Aqua class.? First time in Aqua class and quite excited about the room service menu as I hear it is an extended version of the regular menu. Thank you!
