  1. We have anytime dining and we are linked with someone who just booked 2 days ago with fixed time, early dining. Not sure how we can eat together. Anyway, we received an email this morning saying we now can start booking the main dining rooms for our upcoming cruse. "Finish planning your complimentary dining" it says on the heading. Along that comes various links, one for each of the restaurants. For example, there's a RESERVE NOW link for Cyprus, there's a RESERVE NOW link for Cosmopolitan and so on. When I click on these link, it says "We can't find these links you're looking for" Celebrity wanted me to check with my TA and my TA doesn't answer. Do ya'll think it's because I'm linked to someone who's on FIXED TIME dining? I tried unlink to see if that's the case, but I can't find the spot to unlink anyone. Or does anyone know where to see who I'm actually linked to at the moment? Or link is broken? Thanks everyone.
  2. Thanks for the info. Appreciate all of you. Ended up with CC instead (yes for points).
  3. Right, Blu. I prefer Blu's menu but my partner won't want to book aqua if he can't get to order from the main dining room (and the special section specific to each of the 4 mains). So just want to know if we can actually order them while we are dining in Blu before we book.
  4. Thinking about booking another Apex tomorrow, have some question about Aqua dining - I prefer Aqua's menu but my partner prefers the menu from the main dining room (and the special section from each of the different main dining - cosmopolitan, Tuscan, Cyprus, Normandie..). While seated in Aqua, can we order from the main dining room menu and their special section? Can we dine at the other 4 main dining rooms? are the Apex Aqua's menu similar to the older ships Aqua's? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the answers. We just booked the transatlantic Nov on Apex for anytime. My understanding from reading all the advise here is I will be able to make reservations for the 4 main dining rooms and able to move around. Crazyplanningmom - I believe they meant that if you book traditional seating, you have the option to pick which one of the four for your dining preference if you book early, meaning let your TA know which one you like to be in, but you're pretty much stuck in that one. And if you book late then perhaps the seating for the restaurant you prefer has filled up, so you will have no choice but to seat where they assign you, again I suspect you'll be placed in one restaurant for the entire cruise. For Anytime dining you will have the option to go to either one of the 4. But you will risk long waiting times if you didn't reserve advance. Meanwhile you can pick the specialty items from any of the 4 restaurants while seated at any of the 4. Correct me if I'm wrong above. Does any know if the specialty items in the 4 restaurants changes as well like the main menu?
  6. We want to book something tomorrow on the celebrity Apex and was hoping someone here can provide some answers for the dining options. I know that they have four restaurants and you can eat at any one of them. So do you pick which one you want to go to during booking? Or is it assigned to you? Also today still have the anytime dining as well as the early and late dining? If we do anytime dining, does that mean we can just pop into any of the four restaurant whenever there's availability on that day? What we normally do is we do anytime dining, but we still eat at a specific time at 5:30 or 6:00 and make reservations throughout at the same restaurant. We have never sailed the Apex edge class So don't know how it works. Like for example, if you're in early dining 5:30 does that mean you go to the same restaurant? But how do you go to a different one to try? If you want to or are you just stuck in that one restaurant? The ability to eat at any restaurant. Is it only for the one to select anytime dining?
  7. Surprised to hear they exclude some perks for suite GTY. REALLY?? That is not good, Years ago, we gotten from a Suite GTY to a Royal Suite on the Milly, TWICE. and another on Connie (and because it Royal, we get to dine at all specialty for free too). Just had to play it right like booking at the last minute, but those days are over since they introduced the bidding for upgrades. What is excluded from Suite GTY do you know?
  8. Wonder if it's possible to upgrade from PI to E3 on the Edge classes within Balcony classes. of P2 > P1 > E3 > E2 > ...
  9. Great to hear all the interesting POVs. But one thing I did notice is when you go ahead and book, it's much clearer (BJ, crucon, celebrity site) when it's all included or not. In the past the price is pretty vague as far as I found, what is included or not when booking. Perhaps that's the new price structure they're talking about.
  10. Is it just me or does anyone else here think celebrity cruises prices have gone up substantially recently? We booked a repositioning cruise and paid about $2,000 with all inclusive and refundable deposit only about a month and a half ago. I notice now that is almost the price before all inclusive added in. This is true for most other cruises that we have been tracking. It seems like the price remain the same but now you have to pay a lot more to get the all-inclusive. Or is this all in my head?
