  1. The ALLURE, the ship that left me! LOL!! UGH, good times!
  2. We've done Allure/Symphony and Mariner/Navigator/Explorer. We loved them all, but to be honest, we had a blast on Navigator last Oct. Didn't feel overwhelming and that I had to get it all done in 7 days, like I feel on the Oasis class ships. We were able to get it all done without 'rushing'. Will I do Oasis class again? Of course! We love them too! And even Icon! But you'll love the smaller ships. Well, we did Vision and probably won't again.
  3. I've done both, do Royal. Nothing wrong with X, but slightly older crowd. He'll meet more people his age on Royal.
  4. Coming home on the Nav is when you're going to feel the swells. Heading down south is not bad. We had no huge swells coming back, so we couldn't tell she was even moving. We did her last Oct and loved her. It's amplified and really, really nice! It'll be in dry dock again before we sail on her in May. Yes, she's smaller than Oasis class. We've done Allure, Symphony and loved them, but as mentioned, we loved the Nav after setting realistic expectation that she's not Oasis class. You'll love her.
  5. Be careful with this! On our last Navigator cruise, on the last night, we were told that the dinner was 'complimentary' for my wife and I. So we gave them a great tip. A few days after the cruise, not only did they charge us, but they got a very nice tip on top of that! We called, but Royal would not do anything, said they'll look at the records but that we should've disputed ON THE SHIP! We didn't know! Oh well, lesson learned! As Mama always said, nothing in life is for FREE!
  6. Lol, mine was the 'Trauma from the Bahamas' cruise πŸ˜‰ Thank you, it's posted all over or linked.
  7. Viator or off the ship, usually cheaper than on the ship, BUT, if you don't get back on time, the ship won't wait!
  8. I haven't missed another ship since the 'Trauma in the Bahamas' cruise, lol! Been on about 4 since then, and one more in May. They were on Royal, Carnival, Celebrity, Royal and the upcoming on Royal.
  9. We were on the Navigator 2 October's ago, and she was beautiful! I can't imagine after dry dock. We sail on her again in May and can't wait to see her πŸ™‚
  10. It always stinks in the back πŸ˜‰
  11. Our May Navigator cruise was 75 a day, it dropped to 69. We cancelled and rebooked, but doubt that it will drop any further.
  12. For our upcoming Navigator of the Seas cruise, the price was originally 75 per day. The price dropped to 69, we cancelled and rebooked. Saved about 50 bucks or so. I'll continue to monitor, but highly doubt it will drop any further.
  13. I'm back and still cruising! No missed cruises since then. Lesson learned!
  14. Look for my previous posts under KLFHNGR. We've done this cruise MANY times, I've posted things to do in all ports, from adventurous to chillin'!
  15. I'd take this time over the 6AM - 2PM any day! Much more to do! At 6AM, most shops are closed. You'll be glad of the time change!
  16. We were on NoS last week, we had no ability to book/rsvp on app, it was first come, first serve. No problem finding seats to any shows.
  17. She's dang expensive! For the dates we looked, it's about 4k for 2 for a balcony! YIKES!
  18. I missed it once, lol. It was not fun! You can read my story here on CC
  19. This is not always an option, i.e., work, ask for time off, other stuff, etc.
