Sounds like I should be good if I use it before 15. Thanks everyone.

According to Carnival's site the following is excluded from Cheers
- Beverages offered through enomatic wine machines and self-serve beer stations
My question is can you still use these stations and just pay for the beer that you self pour? If you do this, does it count towards your 15 drink limit?
I have had Cheers before but never came across these.
Thanks

Last 10 cruises, all but one were Lido balconies. They are a great location and surprisingly quiet. Next cruise we will be trying a Havana cabana so this will be a bit of a change.

Looking forward for the review. We will be in a Havana Cabana a week from today so give me the scoop on the Horizon!
-
I have stayed in a Lido balcony on the Vista and other ships. To me, it is the best location. On the balcony, it is surprisingly quiet. The only time I heard anything was when they had some events at the pool and I could barely hear it.

Have they changed rules to allow you to bring on soda?
You can bring a 12 pack of soda per person. It has been that way for a while. Water was not allowed to be carried on a few years ago.

It's a waste of $90, most get there luggage after non FTTF.
As usual from you, useless information. Do you know this for a fact? No, probably not. A lot of people get FTTF and buy it again. So please provide correct info.

He is probably the best one that I have cruise with. Never heard any bad language from him but I'm sure it's nothing that kids have not heard from TV, school, friends, etc.

I agree the Red Frog appetizers are great but I do not think they are available on the Legend. Only select ships and that one is only the bar. It's still a great time

There are elevators at the Galveston port. Just tell them you can't take stairs/escalator and you are fine.
As far as the nuts, you should be fine. I don't think they are looking for those. Worst case is that they take them away from you.

I will actually walk around and if I see a few spots with no one there, I will wait the 40 minutes and then remove the items. When the people come back, I just tell them that the Carnival people came by and took their stuff because they were gone so long. This works for me since they have been gone the required amount.
The items get sent to the towel place.

I agree with the Dream. More options of things to do. All Carnival ships are great so you can't go wrong.

Sea pass is used to open your cabin door and for charges on board. It is also used to get on and off the ship at ports. I think the order is security, check in (photo taken here now) and then get on ship when it opens up.
Doors to the cabins open around 1:30 and you can go in a get your sea pass. If you want to order anything before that, you can use your boarding pass.

This is great advise. Our son is grown now but I remember telling him that he needed to go the first night and we agreed that he would spend 5 minutes. He started talking to two girls and ignored me after that. We did not see a lot from him on that cruise since he spent a lot of time with his group of friends. It is hard to find a group to hang out with once the cliques have formed.

It depends on length of cruise and number of ports/days at sea. And yes elegant night is when they serve lobster, not sure if it is both or only one of them.

They don’t have Red Bull but they do have Rockstar and sugar free Rockstar. Rockstar and Grey Goose was $13 and it’s totally covered under Cheers.

Totally love a couple of these midday to break up the beer. My poison is Titos and sugar free Rockstar.
They only pour in some of the Rockstar and will give you the rest of the can if you ask for it. You've paid for it so you might as well get it.

Interesting question and I think it would be fun, but I have never seen that on any of my Carnival cruises.

Chippy Chippy So you have never thought something should be changed or in your opinion was dumb?
This was in response to someone calling Carnival stupid (not sure how that works, but OK). I thought it was a pretty funny response.

Are you asking about the rate offer or the portable crib by the same name? LOL

Haha, I was thinking the same thing.

however, it's just not true, again, a ridiculous exaggeration "not one waiter on the Lido deck" On the first day they are everywhere pushing there DOD and glass. Never had a problem getting a server, get a good one, they will know your name, folio # and what you drink.
Completely agree. On the first day I find a good one and never have a problem for the rest of the cruise getting a drink by the Lido. Once I came out for a quick drink at the bar and the waiter stopped by and got my beer for me.

I agree, carry the soda on. I doubt the people answering the phone at Carnival know all the rules about what you can bring on. They're probably more trained on selling.
-
I think that's something a lot of us have done. I'm not sure what is the best surface but you also have to think about slipping. Some surfaces will be less hot but you will slip all over the place. I think that would cause more harm to people.

No smoking on balconies. On a couple of decks smoking is allowed on one side. It should not bother you unless maybe you are on a balcony the deck above.

You said that you did not know if the gate was open after seven. The response was that yes it is open after seven. So how did you mean during the daytime?
