I should have said when I went .... now when I go in it wants to put me at a table for 2 at 7. I eat at 6. And as a solo do not want a table for 2. But I can't modify to a table for 6 or 8 unless I want to eat at 7. Guess there all booked out. If your on the 15-August you can have my table

Awe. You're so sweet. Thank you. However I'm on August 1st but thank you so much for your kindness.

Thats weird!! When I go on the medallion to enter my preferences on Dine My Way it defaults to a table for 2 at 5:20!

Well when I put it in on the upper left when it shows my profile picture it does say a table for two but then the option when I'm selecting a Time says table for eight table for six table for however many when I select a different time but none of them had tables for any earlier than like 8:20

  3. Have an upcoming Cruise in August on The majestic and the rest of my cruises starting from Thanksgiving all throughout winter on the sky and enchanted.

What is this garbage that I no longer can book a table for two. I've always been an early diner with a 5:00 traditional seating, but all that pops up on the app is seating times for 8:30 and on. I'm an early bird when it comes to bed. I hope to God the matri'd can make an adjustment when I get on board because I don't know what I'm supposed to do now.

Here I am thinking the dining on the app sounded lovely for those who like anytime dinning,  but I thought traditional would have remained traditional. My father and I prefer to always sit alone at a table for two, but all I'm getting are tables for eight or six which is like a nightmare to us. This new setup stinks!

I don't have a picture but I'll give a shout out to Carmen in Vines on the Crown Princess. She is so friendly to everyone, knowledgeable about wine, and loves her job. We sailed with her for 31 days and then 2 1/2 years later we re-boarded the Crown and she remembered us and our names the first morning of the cruise when working as a barrista in the International Cafe.  She even asked if my sister and brother-in-law were cruising with us (they had been on the first cruise)!

As others have noted, over the years we've completed commendation cards and provided extra tips to recognize many Princess waiters and stewards.

I was very excited to see your comment. I took a screenshot and sent it to Carmen as I'm very close friends with her. She wanted me to pass the message on to you, to let you know you have literally made her day as you gave her the world's biggest smile. She truly misses her job onboard and all of her passengers. She wanted me to pass on the very big thank you, for your kind words.

  5. After speaking and talking to some friends and people I know who work on the Sky. She will be anchored about 15miles in the middle of the water from PE. They will later this week take a trip over to the Princess Cays, and give the crew a beach day. Then she'll be back in PE to pick up some food supplies i think. They are trying to sort out all of the crew flights back home. Keep in mind Princess has 15 ships worth of crew to get back home, with sorting out everyone's flights. So it's great they can use to ships as continued room and board until then.more importantly they have all earned the lovely use of the amenities of ship like a passenger, for all their hard work and dedication in overseeing and taking care of their guests. So it's nice to see them have some form of breather and "me time". Even though I was greatly looking forward to my return next week on the beautiful sky and devastated that all of the princess bookings have been cancelled for 60 days. However safety comes first not just for us passengers but for all the crew who work on board. There will be plenty more cruises that I have planned already for this year and through 2021. I would like to take a moment to wish all the crew a safe journey home (whenever that may be). And we'll.wishes for @ healthy vacation break. I pray that they will continue to compensation pay for something completely out their hands, as we as a world, are trying to navigate through such a time.

  6. Yes I just read this somewhere. people are also worried about their Regal Cruise that's also supposed to leave on Sunday due to lack of portside help. as mentioned above it was in our sun sentinel as I live here in Fort Lauderdale about three or four workers who contracted the virus. Last week they had to bring in help from other terminals in companies outside of metro to assist with the disembarkation in parking process last weekend. Praying this gets resolved as I leave in two weeks. Hopefully some light will be shed upon princess very soon.

Seems pretty much business as usual.  They are taking some extra precautions in the buffet.  Most people are just enjoying the cruise!

What extra precautions are they going, minus the asking pax to washing their hands and using purell? Are they serving food now to pax? To me that would make most sense.

They need to make up their mind quickly. Crown leaves for Europe on March 26.

I have a friend working the crown right now just finished talking to her. The crew on board that ship has no clue what's going to happen with their TA. They're just playing everything by ear just like the rest of us. I personally think it's best for them just to leave the ships here in the Caribbean for right now. Give all your crew members a month or two off I've paid leave if they're still on contract. Hopefully then things will calm down. Should be interesting in the next week or two. I still think princess is doing a fantastic job with everything that's been thrown at them. And they've handle it with nothing but Grace.

  9. I just spoke to a crew member friend and someone who's currently on their working. It's just a simple water to come back with a no-sale order due to the fact that they also have two crew members or so who were transferred from the Grand and they just want to test them to double-check.

on a brighter note I've also spoken friends on other ships Royal princess and Regal Princess are both clear with those crewmembers test coming back negative.
