If you want to do it again in two years we’ll do it again as well. Truly one my favorite itineraries. Next time I will try and wrangle one of those vaunted Barbados departures. Getting to Martinique is a pain. We are doing the Seaside repo to Port Canaveral after you in April. Don’t use up all the good cheer in YC. Unfortunately, out of Fort de France. 😢 Dennis

I have to agree. My recent Divina YC experience is similar. In fact it was so good I asked the Restaurant Manager if they had changed beef purveyors for Port Canaveral. Steaks a few months earlier on Meraviglia, even in Butcher’s Cut, were not even Choice, much less Prime. I plan on foregoing our Diamond dinner and just have the steak in YC. Advantage is no limitation on menu selections for everything else. Dennis

No. The Pool One grill is not open for dinner. YC Restaurant does not offer outside dining.

Your currently assigned 1500 time will DEFINITELY be changed prior to sailing. If you are sailing from Miami and Port Canaveral check-in times will generally be moved at least to earlier than 2:30. Depending on cruise departure time the doors to the terminal will be closed approximately 90 minutes prior to planned sailing to fully clear the manifest for immigration control. Please do not risk missing your cruise by showing up at the terminal too close to the sailing time. Trust me, some passengers are turned away after the terminal is ‘closed.’ When you do get to the terminal identify yourself as Diamond. I do know that Port Canaveral is now able to offer priority check-in for Diamond members. The removal of the unusual COVID lines has opened things up. I haven’t sailed from Miami in the last two months.

Well I just confirmed a reservation (paid deposit) for the Iceland to New York Inaugural, Sep 9 to Sep 23 2023. I think I was reservation number 738. 😀 The reservation was made through my agent. I have no idea whether one can book on one’s own. The reservation documents and payment tool are miles beyond the normal MSC communication; simple/clear documents and easy to use payment tool. The information brochure on the ship and the experience details sent to me by my agent were extensive and really slickly presented. First impression: The Explora Journeys team really took the effort to launch on a high note. They clearly studied the competition’s systems. Dennis
